Brampton Dales Farm B&B

Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall.

Cosy and fri2ndly

Excellent breakfast, made to feel very welcome by the owner and staff. Comfortable room with all facilities. Even the farm animals were characters. Always be happy to return and will recommend.

Lovely location, quiet, clean and the staff is lovely.

Huge was most welcoming quite rural hens chickens and rooster access to a pub with great meals for dinner. Huge does an amazing English breakfast served in the most delightful dinning room.

Fantastic host , highly recommend stay there , went above hospitality, my partner loves horses and when we arrived was taken too see them with no hesitation, room was lovely with a good nights sleep followed in the morning with a wonderful fresh made breakfast with home made bread

We had a delightful one night stay at Brampton Dales. The farm is at the end of a lane with beautiful views across the fields. We stayed in one of the upper floor rooms which cosy and welcoming (and surprisingly cool despite the heat wave). The bed was veru comfortable and we had a fantastic night's sleep. The breakfast was devine with freshly baked bread, home made jams and a generously sized English breakfast to set you up for the day. Staying at Brampton Dales is like staying in another time - you feel welcomed and cared for half a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We would definitely stay again! (PS - one review commented that there's not many places nearby to eat but if you stay on a Friday night, the local (coal fired) chippie is open if you're happy to queue!)

Beautiful place and charming experience - Step Back in Time Warm welcome from family run hosts. Accommodation so pretty with tranquil view resembling an old English painting. Like a dolls house. Quiet secluded countryside experience. Working farm. Time stands still. Not rushed in the morning. Home cooked food lovingly prepared. Home baked bread. There’s no point paying 1.5x the price to stay in Lincoln. Treat yourself!

Great Hosts, Had a lovely stay

A wonderful and quiet location. The room was very clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast with still warm home made bread being the star! A lovely two night break.

Lovely stay on the farm. Hugh and Marion excellent, friendly hosts. Perfect peace and quiet, slept like a log. The most fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thanks to you both.

Great host, nice place

Absolutely lovely place to stay, the owners are so kind and caring and lovely to speak to we arrived about 5.30pm to a lovely gentleman who showed us around the farm and to our room. There was fresh milk in the room and every amenity you could think of, breakfast was at a time of our choosing 9.30am as we fancied a lie-in, amazing chef the breakfast was to die for. We went for a roam around the fields to see some horses and sheep who were really friendly. Overall all an amazing place to stay and very affordable will definitely be staying here again😊

Perfect host

Its was amazing so peaceful cozy and the animals just roaming around where fantastic. Love how's the Gaurd sheep greeted you as you came to them B&B Food Wow what a breakfast you don't leave there hungry freshly baked bread delicious and not to forget Hugh what a character he's fantastic. Definitely will be coming back.

Two aspects to mention A) I was bitten on the ankle by the owners dog(s). Two Jack Russels and one terrier were very aggressive. Not sure which one bit me, but it was sufficient to draw blood. B) Towels (plenty) were very hard - needed use of fabric conditioner during laundry.

Great place, outstanding breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean. Water was hot. Setting is excellent. I work regularly in the area, and will definitely make it my regular.
