What Guests Say About Their Stay

I enjoyed my stay here more than any other place I have stayed in the UK. A wonderful old building done out with Georgian style furniture, only 10 to 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Nothing was too much trouble for the warm and friendly host, the bedroom faced the garden away from the road so was wonderfully quiet and the four poster bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean and a decent size. Just bear in mine this is an old building so shows some signs of minor ware and tear, but if that does not bother you I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Love, love, LOVED our stay here! The place was so charming and was a short walk from the city centre, so getting around was super easy! The host was also amazing about staying in touch with us and giving us tips for our stay in Bath!

The host, Pete, was extremely welcoming and informative. The property was on a busy street, and we enjoyed watching the hustle & bustle of the small city. However, our first floor bedroom was located in the quiet rear of the house, so we slept peacefully. A ten minute walk got us to the main attractions of The Roman Baths and The Abbey.

We got a bedroom and a living room on the first floor. They were separated by the main staircase so not completely private. Bedroom a bit cramped. Bathroom was fine. The living room spacious and interesting- antique furniture and various nick knacks and ornaments everywhere. Location was good for access to Bath center and also parks nearby. A convenience shop is right across the street 2 problems with the living room. 1) It is NOISY. The windows offer no protection from the traffic noise outside and that street is busy night and day. 2) the lighting in that room is poor. The host was friendly and helpful.

Absolute must-visit in Bath! First of all, the host Pete is a real gem. Extremely friendly, full of great recommendations and general knowledge of the area, he made me feel extremely welcome. Room(s)/facilities: Both the room, the bed itself and lounge area with sofas were charming, and came equipped with plenty of towels and toiletries. Pete also said that if ever I needed anything replenishing, that I could just send a message, and he did check up on me, which was very kind. Area: lovely quiet area, art museum and a few pubs/restaurants nearby; easily walkable into town (5 mins to Pulteney Bridge). Food: food wasn't available at this property, HOWEVER, I only mention this because I would note this as a bonus, as there a plethora of options in town, which means you get to get out and explore. Milk and tea/coffee options were provided, which was more than enough and very much appreciated. Overall: I had a wonderful visit, loved my time in Bath and will definitely be returning. I recommend to anybody visiting Bath to stay here, you wont regret it.

A gorgeous Georgian property close to all main points of Bath - very hospitable towards myself and my partner. The rooms themselves were so full of character and so cost effective, especially for a bank holiday weekend; I couldn't recommend the place or its host more.
