Very friendly helpful staff

On arrival we were told our room was above the beer garden. They said they had a party in but garden would be closed by 10 it was still open till 11.30 with people drinking and making a noise. We were told the only window in the bedroom had the glass broke the day before. The room was really dirty along the headboard full of dust and when the wind blew through the window it was blowing dust from the filthy lampshade all over the bed. The space for the toilet was so small you either hit your arm off the wall or the small shower cubicle which was really slippery so much we had to put a towel on the shower floor. There was no top on one of the taps and when my husband told a member of staff he was told to make a list of the problem as they didn’t want a bad review. We stayed one night only. Our mini break was spoilt and very upsetting

Beautiful place amazing service and hidden gem the perfect addition.

Really nice hotel, went early and asked if we could park up till the check in time, and they said no problem! Leave your car and go enjoy your day, short walk to sea front, went back at 3pm and there’s a bar situated in the hotel called the hidden gem which we didn’t know about, cheap prices and craft beers and ciders too so bonus! Staff were great, room was a family room but spot on for us and the continental breakfast the next morning was fabulous! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very friendly staff. Even with a pub down stairs it was very quiet in the evening. It was nice having a mini fridge in the room.

My second time at this hotel. It is very relaxed and the staff are friendly. Will book again next year

NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL, THIS IS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. MAY BE HITELS.COM WILL TELL YOU THAT THIS IS 3 STAR BUT IT IS NO STAR HOTEL. WHOLE NIGHT NOISE. SOMEONE TAKING SHOWER AT 3AM AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE SLEEPING BELOW BATHROOM. DOORS DOESNT CLOSE. THEY SAID TOILETTARIES, THEY MEAN MICRO SIZE BOTTLE OF SHAWER GEL

Dreadful. Stinky old badly fitted room and bathroom. No breakfast.

Lovely hotel friendly staff

Parking was limited but there is street parking. Rooms were clean & had everything needed. Little bit noisy from the bar but to be expected. Staff very friendly. Didn’t stay for continental breakfast. Overall a great place for the price.

Really friendly reception and lovely facilities

Room was clean and extremely comfortable, bar was great with good beer and fair prices, dart board in the bar lead to a few very good nights in the hotel. Craig was really friendly and accommodating, always there to say hello and great company in the bar, cover band on our last night was a great end to the holiday. The bedroom and en-suite were both incredibly clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the hotel is only a short 10 minute walk from the sea front. Don’t have a single complaint and couldn’t recommend the hotel more

Nice place very close to the sea front and town shops. Good value for money, with a continental breakfast included, wonderful choice of food available.

An old hotel but friendly staff and owners willing to help with any needs or wishes Everything really clean, lovely big room with ample space, comfy beds and even water on arrival. Great little bar for guests and the public so all in all a lovely weekend had A really fantastic continental breakfast each morning with everything you could wish for Would return

the staff very friendly and helpful. The main stairs carpet somewhat threadbare but everywhere kept tidy and clean. They only do a continental breakfast but as much as you can eat and plenty of choice with a member of staff on hand to help out. You can either eat in the lounge, no tablecloths, or take it back to your room. I had a family room so plenty of space. The room had tea and coffee making facilities and a little fridge. The toilet and shower room was a bit cramped with the shower cubicle a high step up but once again very clean. The whole place is a little bit igglety pigglety but there is nothing to deter me from booking in here again.
