We had a lovely stay in Hare's Hideout. It was clean and set in very peaceful surroundings. Our host Gemma, was friendly and helpful but never intrusive...a perfect balance! Tea/coffee etc was restocked daily, and bottled water was supplied every day. Would highly recommend and would definitely return!

Amazing place. Lovely and quiet apart from the three resident peacocks which were a delight and a cat. We had welcomes every morning. Relaxing beyond! Yet close enough to Looe and Polperro and the main route roads to get to places. Go and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed!

We were given excellent detail of location before arrival, and a lovely welcome to Coombe Farm, and daily enquiries to check all was well. The room was spacious and very clean, everything was as expected. Comfortable bed. Only a small mirror in the ensuite though, maybe an extra mirror in the room itself? There was ample parking space. The grounds are well maintained and the views from there glorious. Very peaceful.

Lovely large room with chairs, full coffee tray, good daily service. The environs were lovely with resident peacocks and cat. It was however increasingly damp during our 3 night stay. The bathroom needs updating- particularly the shower.

Coombe Farm is a quiet and peaceful getaway, ideal for a relaxing short break. The farm's location allows easy access into Looe, Polperro, and other nearby attractions. The presence of free-roaming peacocks and a friendly cat adds to the farm's charm. The room is very spacious with a comfortable bed, my only small criticism is that there is only a small hand size mirror and it would be nice to have a larger or full length mirror for doing hair etc. our host Gemma was very helpful, with good communication, and a welcoming nature. 😊

The rooms we had were set in a beautiful setting in the countryside but only a short drive to Looe and main roads to other parts of Cornwall. We went to Padstow for a day which was about a hours drive . We had the Lily Lovedays room which was very clean and modern and the Peacocks Perch with more traditional furnishings. The bathroom was a little tired looking in Peacocks Perch but this would not stop me returning to the property. Tea and coffee was supplied with longline milk and there is crockery supplied in the room if you purchase food elsewhere. However there is NO facilities to prepare food. As previously suggested a mini fridge to store fresh milk and a toaster would be handy for breakfast. I was aware of this beforehand so again it wouldn't stop me returning to the property. Gemma the owner made us feel very welcome and kept in touch throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and you are greeted with peacocks in the grounds . We would definitely return if we decide to return to this area of Cornwall again.

Comfortable spacious room in a rural location. Our room was one of a pair in a converted ground floor former barn in the grounds of the hosts house. The room was very well equipped, more suited to a short stay as there are no catering facilities. Some basic essential crockery and cutlery was provided so breakfast was possible. There was also plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk sachets. We were offered the use of our hosts fridge for our own fresh milk. Our host was communicative and helpful without being intrusive.
