Lovely hotel and very clean. Room was small although there was only two of us and we didn’t spend much time there. A stones throw from Kings Cross. Could be a bit noisy at night but overall a nice stay

I am a regular stayer at Crestfield when needing to stay close to Kings Cross/ St Pancras. I have stayed in the majority of hotels in the area, this although basic and not fancy covers everything I need as a business traveler - close to transport, en-suite facilities, wifi and cost. I always go for the double room, and always found the accommodation clean. There is no air conditioning but there is a fan in the room, and as London very rarely gets too warm this works for me.

Very good hotel. Small rooms and bathroom, but this is usual for such hotels. There is an inner courtyard with benches. Comfortable bed, pillows. There is all the coffee or tea. Convenient location, comfortable sleep

Really lovely room for what we needed bathroom was a tiny bit dated but clean and had a warm shower we weren’t in the room much but it was a very convenient location as we had a concert at Tottenham stadium and it was a very easy tube route to and from the venue even with stations shut as the Victoria line runs directly to Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters, also had some great food options nearby including a 24 hr Morrisons daily which was handy for grabbing the little bits as needed. The area felt a little unsafe but I think that’s just a London general issue and you had to leave the keys at reception which was a little strange to me as you didn’t have to verify anything to get it back but other than that I rate the hotel and would likely use it again if I need a hotel near Tottenham

Great location near St Pancras and Kings Cross but my room was in the basement and no lift so a struggle to get a large case down and up the stairs. Also got all the noise and smells (mostly weed) from the street above.

Check in staff were not welcoming but perhaps the night staff are more grumpy. No messing about though. Room was very small but clean and the design worked. No aircon but there was a fan thankfully as it was very warm when I arrived. Everything worked. The sink tap should be adjusted as the water pressure was so high I had a shower before I intended to have one.

This hotel has a massive security problem, primarily driven by its bizarre practices. We needed to store our luggage there because our room was not yet ready. Instead of placing them in a secure, locked area, they were placed in a doorless closet that was off the main lobby that any guest could access. Things were no better with our room. We were instructed that we had to turn our key back in when we departed the hotel. We found this strange, but chalked it up to perhaps a London or Europe thing. We turned our key in and left the hotel for the evening. When we returned late that night, we asked for our room key and were promptly handed it without any ask of our name, a show of ID or anything. We could have asked for any room number. Worse yet, anyone off the street could have asked for ours. This all came to a boil when we awoke the next morning to prepare for our train travel to Amsterdam, only to find our three passports now missing from our travel backpack, which had been in the room the entire time. My daughter was also missing a packing cube full of her clothing items. We searched everywhere to no avail and spent that day scrambling. We were eventually able to secure emergency passports, but these are not accepted in Amsterdam or Paris. We were forced to cancel the remainder of our trip at a significant financial loss to us. The hotel of course claimed a "thorough investigation" but predictably, nothing came of it and no restitution of any kind was offered. BEWARE!
