Old building with extremely small bathrooms…closet size. Impossible to change clothes in. Probably standard for this area. Close to Paddington train and tube station. Walking distance to Little Venice, the canal and all the restaurants on the canal. Beautiful tree lined streets. Norfolk park close by.

Dated room and bedding. Bathroom was tiny and awkward. Pleased to have tea and coffee making facilities.

AVOID. AVOID Awful staff and manangement. Weird, musty, foul odour everywhere. Glad I didn't stay in the end. Better places to give your money to which have higher standards and more professionalism

Everything is fine except that the furniture and renovations in the room were a bit old, although the room was clean. Thank you.

I knew I would be staying in a smaller than average room but it was not much larger than a cupboard. There was hardly any room to move and it felt claustrophobic.

Reasonable budget option, don't expect frills because there aren't any.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Only issue was there’s no lift and we stayed on the third floor! We had to carry our luggage! Hotel was near everything though. Best area to stay but the stairs are not easy.

Great location to the underground and bus. Walking distance to all the major attractions if you are ok with walking 10 km a day (it was fine for us).

Can’t complain much considering the price for when I stayed but here are some negatives which weren’t good: - Tiny bathroom and hardly any legroom with the toilet so close to the sink - Tap’s running water was very hit and miss, sometimes ok sometimes barely trickling - Shower water was terrible. Not powerful and barely warm let alone hot - only a split second of being far too hot when turned up again but then goes back to warm - The two bottles of liquids provided in the bathroom were not labelled so had no idea what they were or their ingredients. This is surely against the law as could have been anything so I didn’t use them (see picture) - Cup and spoon provided looked like they hadn’t been washed properly in years (see picture) - The stairs to get up are very steep and creaky - The rooms aren’t very soundproof - could hear peoples conversations in other rooms and even snoring!

The hotel is central for Paddington and for Edgware Road and is one of the best London hotels that I have stayed in

It was clean, well priced for basic amenities and very close to paddington. We slept 2 adults and 3 young kids.

I appreciated the room and the rate, the continental breakfast was not sufficient for the price person.

Really helpful staff at reception. You will be paying a premium for the location, conveniently located within steps of paddington station in central London. Beds are comfortable but the shower and bathroom are very cramped. condition of the furniture, closet, and the room overall is rather poor and dated. Not a bad choice if all you are only looking for a place to sleep and shower after exploring London.

The room was clean but not soundproof so can be noisy during busy days. The bathroom was a bit small. The check-in and check-out was fast and easy. The price was affordable.

Upon arrival, was told my reservation was not at this hotel, but a 'sister hotel' two doors down. There was no notification of this before my arrival. Room was in need of some refurbishment. Damp patches coming through ceiling, unclean curtains, creaking beds etc. Bathroom was clean with a good shower, however.

Tiny, cramped and dirty, but for the cheap price so close to Paddington Station, I can deal with it. What was NOT OKAY was the fact that the desk clerk thought it was acceptable to put us in a room on the top floor with 7 flights of twisty stairs when my mom USES A CANE!!! He could clearly see she has some mobility issues and not only assigned us this room with all the stairs and no elevator, but didn’t even bother to offer to help with the luggage. My mom severely injured her bad hip and knee even worse going up and down that many stairs and it negatively impacted our entire trip. So don’t expect them to care if you ask to switch rooms, or care if you’re disabled. And don’t expect a clean room or fresh towel.
