Room clean and comfortable and staff v helpful

Legendary pub on Herne Hill Sad they stopped having live bands Plus got rid of tv’s to watch football Rooms are comfy Not big but works well Got two cards for “free drink” downstairs in the pub, no limitations were printed on it Used one for shots Went to use the second and was told by a manager it’s only good for house wine….ugh We spent over 650 pounds there all included in two days, so thinking that’s kinda cheap But overall it’s a nice UK pub to hang and stay

The welcome was warm and the chheckin was smooth. The room was spotless and had everythinh we needed. All the staff were friendly. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and thete was a great deal of choice. My friend had the full English and was more than satisfied.

Helpful staff, and delicious breakfast. I appreciate the staff with storing my luggage and helping me carrying to my room. Breakfast was included and had many options. Great walking location to transportation and park.

Great pub, great food, not so great hotel. Grungy room, no hot water on three occasions. Didn’t clean the room one day. Go for dinner but don’t stay the night.

The room was beautifully decorated. Really in keeping with the buildings history. Loved it!

My Mother had a wonderful stay at the Half Moon Hotel. I accidentally booked this hotel a year ago - long story but needless to stay it ended up all working out well. Staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay and service. Thank you to all the Half Moon staff for making my Mum feel so special.

This is a fantastic hotel in a pub in a lovely area, the staff were super friendly we arrived half an hour before check-in but sat in the pub garden and enjoyed some food and drink and could have stayed there all day if we didn't have other plans. The included breakfast was delicious!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Pub is good. Room is a bit shabby but bed is comfortable. Shower is great.

Lovely stay at the Half Moon. A few signs of wear and tear but nothing that ruined our stay. Breakfast was incredible!

Only 1 night stay, had everything we needed. Clean tidy room with air con (godsend). Friendly helpful staff. Really nice pub downstairs, and an amazing breakfast.

Authentic and seamless

Booked for 3 of us, as at a networkibg evebt at Kia Oval, about 25mins away fromnthe Oval. Half Moon is a great venue, massive bar abd outside areas, nice resturant, evening fiid was good, breakfast was excellent. The rooms are large with a generous very comfortable double bed. Overall an excellent place to stay. Be aware its at least a 20min walk to the nearest rail station.

If I could give this 100 stars, I would!! Quaint yet trendy design, spacious room, staff was so friendly, downstairs pub was perfect & couldn't imagine a better experience than I had. Lovely!

Lovely hotel with welcoming staff and a great location near Brockwell Park. The breakfast selection was very nice, too. The only downside was that it felt a bit drafty—but that’s to be expected with charming older buildings!

The location if you are attending a show in Brixton is really good as there is a bus going straight to Brixton and only takes 15min. There is also various shops and market on Sundays. We enjoyed pub food, the sticky toffee pudding is to die for 10/10! Hotel staff were super welcoming and we even got a free upgrade on a weekend! The amenities are just next level; the bath is huge and deep, but if you are not much of a bath person there is also a shower. They provide with all the necesery toiletries. There is a mini fridge in the room and they provide a complimentary beer and water! Plus a fresh milk! In terms of tea and coffee, plenty to choose from, capsule coffee pods, coffee teabags and various Tea Pigs tea flavors to choose from! Bed is super comoftable. Although you can gear the noise on the street, they provide earplugs. Breakfast is included and I must say what a feast! You get lovely selection of fruits, fruit salad, pastries and cereal, but also cooked breakfast. Which was just amazing! It was our second time and last time we didn't enjoy the breakfast. But not this time! It was so good! We will definetly be back again!
