Excellent check in experience, room very clean , bed a little saggy but very clean, quiet and comfortable

Our overnight stay was fine, the room was clean and comfortable, and the meal in the restaurant was good.

on registering front desk were kind and friendly. On checkout the receptionist was new and very anxious. I found it hard to communicate with the receptionist. I tried to explain 1) the lift was not working 2)some tv channels were missing (the remote was not working properly),3) The air conditioning was not working properly. I apologise to the property, I should have realised that she was new to the job and made allowances for this. I did not and left the property frustrated and disappointed. I checked in with trepidation but was relieved by the welcome the staff gave me .This impression was destroyed on checkout. On Saturday night I was willing to tolerate imperfections due to Covid. On sunday at checkout I was an unhappy and frustrated guest who is unlikely to return.
