Holiday Inn Express LONDON CHINGFORD-NTH CIRCULAR, an IHG Hotel

The situation here with parking was very unsatisfactory. After arriving we are told there is a parking charge ,ecen though the car park is park of the hotel grounds. As I was staying 2 days paid my fee ( card only option ) , this was at 11pm Upon arriving home i received an email from the car hire company to say I had incurred a fine as i left at 11.11am ( according to the email 11 minutes late). My understanding would be 48 hour payment takes me until 11pm not 11am. Not at all happy with this and the fact that the hotel stands on its own grounds including the car park.

Paid for two employees to stay. Both were unhappy. One said his room was not clean at all - slept very badly. The mouse traps around the hotel were not a good sign

All ok convenient staff friendly and breakfast good.

Convenient location and easy public transport (bus) into Walthamstow, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue was being next to the North Circular road so noisy when window open (could be an issue in summer).

The stay was good staff were helpful and very friendly room was comfortable no complaints

Nothing special

For a one nights rest was okay, but any extended stay would be not the best. Managed to get a early check in, thanks to the receptionist (didn't get her name) however she was the only really helpful staff I encountered in my stay. Upon checkout which was early on this morning, the staff did not seem helpful and it was a gentleman in a hi Vis that interacted with me not the receptionist that was hiding in the office (was not covert) and he didn't know what he was doing. This put a sour note on the experience. In regards to the rooms, the general cleanliness was how you expect a room, beautiful clean white sheets, neatly folded pillows, clearly a housekeeping team that take pride however they are let down through no fault of their own by a dated building with marks on the shower (looked like dirt that couldn't easily be removed) and marks on the ceiling in the bathroom. For a Budget hotel, it does the job, but it would not be one that I would rush back to.

Hotel very tired - lots of areas in the room that are chipped, cracked, worn out. Heating didn’t work they provided a standalone heater. Even the towels are threadbare. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast basic and no vegetarian sausages that I could see

Room was clean an comfortable. Food was good.

It was everything what we needed, only breakfast could be with more options for example : slicees of cheese, ham , tomatoes , cucumbers , boiled and fried eggs.

Typical Holiday inn express with all the basic amenities. cost £98 per night with £9 for parking outside the front door. We were booked striaght in without a wait and allocated a top floor room at the back as we requested. Hotel seems well used and is a little tired. The bed was comfortable but the Aircon did not seem to work and the window had a broken catch which let in some cold air and the roadnoise, Breakfast was average. Handy for North London venues.

Is ok

The room was like a bed and breakfast kind of room. No wardrobe in the room to put clothes. The bath definitely needs a revamp. Staff were good though.

I am very impressed with Holiday Inn Hotels from the last time I visited one, very good prices, great breakfast, kind and professional staff, room very comfortable, I will definitely repeat after being a Premier Inn Customer for many years.

Nice, clean hotel. Convenient for my trip. Hotel bar was well stocked, and the room was clean, tidy and quiet.

Hotel respond quickly to maintenances issue

Facility can have some maintenance to do . Broken desk lamp. Curtains

The Holiday Inn at the Crooked Billet is very convenient for buses to Walthamstow Central and Blackhorse Road tubes.

Nothing special! Rooms are generally clean. Wifi is horrible

IT WAS OVERALL A MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE STAY THAN OUR PREVIOUS NIGHT'S STAY AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS GREENWICH.
