Hotel Indigo LONDON - KENSINGTON by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Had a great time staying at the hotel. Convenient location, 2 minute walk from Earls Court Tube station in a quiet street.

The room smelled like cigarettes, specifically the bathroom. It was disgusting.

Really enjoyable stay. Friendly and pleasant staff. Helpful. Great breakfast, freshly cooked. Good quality and good choice. Great coffee. Rooms newly refurbished. Comfortable beds, water in mini fridge, slippers and dressing gowns. Bathroom lacking shelf space, shower could be a bit more powerful and design allows some water on ground outside shower area. Some grout not cleaned off tiles but this is easily fixed. Light in parts of room a bit too low so would not be conducive if needed for applying make up etc. due to location of mirror. Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied. Quiet hotel, lots of bars, restaurants within easy reach and underground station around the corner. Bottle beer at bar £7 for small bottle a tad on the expensive side. Overall would highly recommend.

Have stayed at other Indigo hotels. This one is undergoing upgrades, but still was excellent. Lovely rooms (we had a 2 room suite), outstanding staff, great kitchen and breakfast, bar is open late, and the location was perfect. 1 block to tube station. Next to the Olympia (short Uber ride of 10 mins) where I was attending the Book Fair, and great restaurants within 10 minute walk radius.....Indian, Pubs, Tai, Italian.....take your pick..

Excellent linen and quality furnishings. Good breakfast. Location of nearby tube was welcome. Small room and bed in basement overlooking rubbish out of the window. Expensive drinks from bar.

It was an excellent stay. One of the best hotels in that area (and I stayed in a few). The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I did not know I had breakfast included and that was a nice surprise. Good breakfast for the price of the stay. The room was as expected for this kind of hotel, nothing special but nothing to complain about. Felt comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is in a good neighborhood with very convenient tube station. I truly think they are really trying to be excellent. Will for sure look at this hotel again for my next London trip.

Stay often here but property showing its age. No hot water in mornings.Complained but was told it had been used up! Convenient for underground, pubs, shopping at Kensingtom High street.

Excellent Location. Comfortable and Clean

Perfect place to stay in London. Walkable to pubs. The tube station is across the street. Excellent breakfast includes latte or cappuccino

We booked a “premium room” but the premium feel was absent, unfortunately. The greeting on checkin was fine, but upon arriving in the room the coffee spilt down the wall, runs over the skirting board and small patch on the floor were the give-away for the standards employed here. Yes, we could have complained, but spare time was not on our side as this was a busy business trip. Come shower time the raindrop shower head leaks water from above it, the bathroom door was quite water damaged (the wrong type of door for the use, if not sealed) and the two bath sheets had holes. Breakfast looked barely cooked (which we did mention) so we grabbed something elsewhere - another wasted cost. I have fed back complaints to the hotel, but a week on there remains no response, so I guess none of this is news to them. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the equipment in the room good and the staff friendly. The location is the main plus point. On balance, I doubt we’d return as the return on expense really isn’t there (in our view). Perhaps if we’d have chosen a more basic experience it would have been better.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room, the breakfast and the service were all fantastic. But initially we were offered a basement room, which had no view, no air circulation, and had a cleaning fluid smell which made it difficult to breathe. We asked for a change and luckily another room higher up was available. The basement rooms were not cheaper than the rest.

Close to comercial areas and subway

Great staff and good-sized rooms (we had a suite). Couldn't be more convenient for the Tube and good eating options around - Addie's Thai and Afanena Lebanese/Egyptian were both great.

Great value. Very good rooms with nice bathrooms. Breakfast was not the best, but Paul is a block away

Our family of four stayed for one night and we had a great stay. The only down side was the shower. There was no door and it was difficult to keep the water from going out into the bathroom. Otherwise, wonderful stay!
