What Guests Say About Their Stay

Good location, easy to walk into the centre and also down a fairly quiet end of the street despite being so central. Didn’t really interact with staff as you can check in and check out independently, so not much to add there. Hotel doesn’t validate parking so the public car park nearby although safe is quite expensive!

The area in the middle of the city appeared to be safe, and I visited with a special needs . Young adult, There was plenty to see, and for me, the hotel's cleanliness was top-notch. However, the breakfast left much to be desired as the food was of poor quality. On a positive note, the staff service was fantastic, and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable, and my stay was quite pleasant. The area was beautiful with many stunning views nearby, and it was only a few minutes' walk to both the arena and city center, making it very convenient. Overall, the hotel had a lot to offer, but they need to improve their breakfast service as the options were lacking, with oily hash browns and dry bacon. Apart from this, the rest of the hotel was impressive. Please note that there is an issue with parking as the hotel does not have its own parking space. I drove a disabled van and was fortunate to find a parking spot very close to the hotel. However, parking can be a challenge as guests need to find their own spot. Despite this parking issue, the hotel itself was good, and the area felt safe.

The bed was very comfortable and beddings can be changed upon request. The house keeping is excellent, clean every time with refreshments (including water) and toilet paper topped up. No toothbrush, robe or slippers for deluxe double room. Their shampoo is not 2in1 and there’s no conditioner so your hair gets really dry after washing. My room has a weird water flushing noise coming from the vents and always at night. This disturbed my sleep and when giving this feedback to reception, the staff did take it seriously. Generally good customer service though I don’t like that there’s too much online check in/out. There is a Victoria station nearby but trains to my destination runs once every hour and walking to Manchester Piccadilly station is a 20min walk with hills and bumps. Overall is good but there are areas of improvement.

Was so impressed with this hotel! It was an extremely good price which made me think it would maybe not be as good as other more expensive ones in the area, but I was wrong! It was very clean, really good size room, nicely decorated and big bathroom too! We had a good nights sleep, it was quiet and the bed was comfy. There was a kettle (with plenty of teabags, sugar, milk) and cookies which I thoroughly enjoyed on arrival after our loooong trip. There was an iron and ironing board and a DECENT hairdryer (not one of those ones that barely produce air). Really good check in / check out process which you can do on your phone. Staff were friendly especially those at the bar. Safe, well lit car park pretty much right next door which is very convenient (they give you a discount code) and perfect location for the city centre - very close to Arndale but also still quiet! Would 100% recommend

I was very disappointed with this hotel. We travelled 5 hours to Manchester, to be greeted with a dirty room. Hair in the toilet, stains and crumbs all over the bathroom floor, lipstick marks on the glasses. I complained and was given another room. This rooms air con wasn’t working - and we were on the top floor during 26 degree heat. We were meant to be going out that evening but all the kerfuffle with the rooms meant we had to change our plans. We were moved again - the room again wasn’t up to standard with a dirty bathroom floor and ripped up paper in the bedroom. I didn’t complain this time as we had to leave for our event and I couldn’t be bothered with the awkwardness AGAIN. Very disappointed - wouldn’t recommend.
