Metro Inns Huddersfield

Couldn’t get through as it says contact ahead of time. Not very friendly service on check in walls were dirty surfaces not maintained well enough. Shower was rubbish

The hotel, room and staff are ok. The mattress needed changing as it was saging a bit and in curtain positions I could feel the base through it and the was a bad odour on the upstairs corridor. But you get what you pay for.

Very nice stay at fantastic price

I don’t expect much from two star accommodation but this was just sloppy. Food detritus on the cabinet work in the room, housekeeping needs revisiting. Not too easy to find either. It could be good but not T the moment.

The chair was battered, shower was cold otherwise not bad

Location behind a petrol station doesn't help, but neither did the full bins and dirty laundry by the front door with flies humming round it doesn't help.

My room was excellent an location was great too. An staff where friendly, helpful

Exactly as expected for the price

Interesting visit, bit dusty but bed was comfy and had a decent nights sleep. Convenient 24 hr food place next door.

We had rubbish under the bed that had clearly been there for a while. Wires were hanging out of light fittings. The humming from the washing machine in the facilities next to my room kept me awake most of the night. Terrible nights sleep. Terrible hotel. Will never stay in a Metro Inn again.

Perfect for an overnight stay, had everything I needed. Comfy bed, shower, kettle, tea, coffee, fantastic WiFi l. It's quiet location meant I had a great night's sleep.

Room was filthy, skirti g boards full of muck and dust, broken furniture and the lack of plug sockets was an issue

It is with extreme deep regret that we find it necessary to inform you how extremely disappointed my wife and I were when we stayed at your Metro Huddersfield accommodation. My husband is totally blind the mat in the entrance was curled up causing him to trip which is a safety issue in addition to this stair carpet was coming away on stairs also carpet was filthy and stained. With regards to the room the single bed mattress was blood stained the whole room was thick in dust nowhere to hang your towel in bathroom also no shower gel taps way out dated also you can not regulate the temperature it keeps going cold then scalding hot without touching taps ( I scalded my foot) hair dryer I had to fetch was absolutely thick in dust. I wouldn’t even say it was worth £10. The whole place is extremely tired and way out dated. Certainly would not recommend to anybody. the staff where great and helpful the bed was uncomfortable

Bedside floating table missing. Worktops showing signs of age/wear. Bath had age stains on bottom. Bathroom Flooring peeling away from Bath side/floor. Walls had been filled but required painting . The chair had ingrained dust around outside of seat

Bed was comfy, towels fluffy, felt safe. decor needs to be refreshed. Starbucks next door, SPAR shop for anything you may need. 20 minute walk into Mirfield along a busy road, buses available.
