Our suite was a good size, super clean, comfortable & very stylish with a boutique vibe. The staff were friendly & attentive. Breakfast was very nice quality.
A little further to walk in to the centre than we expected & we thought the parking fee was a little expensive which should be free of charge for guests. Apart from that, we couldn’t really fault this hotel & would highly recommend.

We stayed in the double delux room and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel is exceptionally clean and very well presented. There was water, tea and coffee along with juice, fresh towels and fruit available all day. The staff are very friendly and made sure our stay had everything we wanted. Very impressed with this lovely hotel and would definitely stay again. It’s very well situated with a short walk in to the centre.

Stunning hotel , quite small rooms but still very homely! We was even welcomed with a couple of mince pies! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Easy to get to the center of York. Car park is located to the rear of the hotel . Overall a lovely stay.
The only reason for 4 star is because the room was a little on the small side and due to being near the restraunt part we could hear the guests going to breakfast. But having said this we would stay again.

The hotel was comfortable and warm. We had a room at the back of the hotel with no noise at all. The breakfast was fantastic, cooked to perfection and hot... always a bonus. The staff were very informative and friendly. Would recommend.

The young man on reception was wonderful, polite, helpful and so friendly, lovely room, coat hangers would have been good, I found the noise from the road kept me awake, and I couldn't get the temperature right, too cold, too hot, but it's an old building, and this wouldn't stop me from staying again. I didn't have breakfast as I left each day before it was served, but feel £18.95 was very steep. I loved the help yourself to more tea, coffee and FRESH MILK, non of this UHT stuff.
If you don't mind a walk it's about 20-25 minutes to get to the centre of the town but it's a lovely walk. Great find and a great room price for York.

TV didn’t work, and no action was taken by the hotel management to fix it.
No hot water to shower on final day.
Attempted double charging for breakfasts at checkout. Had to produce banking app to show payment had been made on the day I arrived. No apology given.

The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff especially the lady who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting something different and only 10mins walk into the city centre.
