Staff very pleasant and helpful

Very friendly staff. Room was clean, warm and well equipped. Comfy bed. 10 min walk to the city centre. Great to have onsite parking and we were lucky to get a space for our 2 night stay although a car park was only another 5 mins walk away. Shame no breakfast at the hotel but we found some fabulous cafes in the city and had a delicious fresh cooked breakfasts at reasonable prices. Would stay here again for the location

Room & bathroom very clean and tidy. Good size. Staff helpful. Convenient access on Redbridge park & ride although note buses back to park & ride only pick up evenings. Only a 20min walk though so depends how much luggage you have! Great location a short walk (10-15mins?) from city centre - good to be able to pop back for a relax before heading out for the evening. Main negative was the smell from the bathroom - presume from drainage.

No breakfast was provided so bought sandwiches in shop. The noise level after 10.30pm at night was something else, always someone banging about with luggage or talking nonstop in room

Clean and convenient at good pricing. Parking was a bit small and tight for big vehicle and needed expert maneuvering. There is also a small convenience store just beside. Overall great stay!

Friendly staff, clean room

Newton House is suitable for a quick city break to Oxford, offering a secure room with unique views of its countryside and neighbouring houses from its windows. The bathroom is small but functional, and it is clean enough for the average hotel goer. Still, those with an eye for detail may find that some areas are not cleaned thoroughly or that leftover rubbish is still present in a nook they overlooked during housekeeping. The TV was fine, with some interference during windy weather, so it was perfect for a quiet night in. The Wi-Fi was solid and consistent for those who want screen time away from broadcast TV. Overall, with its location along Abingdon Road, it is convenient for a short stay; however, its housekeeping standards are still impacted by the pandemic era.

Friendly welcome, safe parking although restricted so early arrival required. Easy to walk in to town to shop, eat or go to the theatre. Also time in the morning to go out for breakfast or walk due to being able to leave the car til mid day. overall, a stress free trip.

The room was cozy and clean. Friendly staff was able to help me with the remote control batteries . It’s a fair walk to old town. There was plenty of morning coffee and tea.

Felt more like a B&B than a Hotel, but that’s not a bad thing, no breakfast service though. Comfortable room, good size and modern bathroom. Excellent location to allow exploring the city. Would recommend.

Nice welcome from Martin on arrival. Nice clean rooms and TV that actually works! My stay was nice and quiet.Nice to have parking on site too. Appreciated tea and coffee facilities too. Negatives were minor, no plug in sink, would have liked some shampoo /conditioner, couple of lights didn't work. Would recommend.

Complete lie about the Breakfast! That is the whole point of a bed and breakfast. The shows photos of a really nice breakfast. Complete con! I booked less than 2 weeks ago. 24 hours got an email from the owner. Woe is me on about small business. No breakfast and has not been for a long time. That is why I booked for the experience for my kid from the US. Stand up! Stand out! Do be like same old Vrbo.
