We loved our stay, it was quaint and quiet. The staff was helpful and accommodating with several extra things we needed. We arrived early but they called when a room was early around 12:30. We would recommend the Roseate Hotel to friends and family.

We recently stayed at this hotel after choosing it because it advertises itself as a five-star property. Unfortunately, the room itself didn’t live up to those expectations. Our room was on the lower ground floor, and we could clearly hear the Tube trains throughout our stay, as well as noise from guests and staff moving around above us. The bathroom also had several maintenance issues – the shower over the bath didn’t drain properly, causing water to pool, and the shower head was partially faulty. One of the drinking glasses in the room was visibly dirty, there were cobwebs around the smoke detector, and the bedside lamp didn’t work. That said, there were some positives. The bed was very comfortable, the reception staff were polite and welcoming, and the barman made excellent cocktails, which was a real highlight of our stay. Overall, while the service from the staff was good, the standard and maintenance of the room fell well below what we would expect from a hotel marketed as five-star. With better attention to housekeeping and maintenance, the experience could be much improved.

Very comfortable stay. Rooms need updating. Location convenient with short 4 min walk to paddington and 5 min to Lancaster gate central line and Hyde park. Staff were lovely. Breakfast room looked nice and prices reasonable. Place badly needs a room decor face lift . But felt like staying at a relatives guest room…cosy comfy in a more traditional way

The Roseate staff were incredibly accommodating and kind where there were issues with my last minute booking through Expedia. The hotel is very conveniently located near Paddington station, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again thanks to the great service.

The staff were truly exceptional. Kind, conversational and always on the ball. The condition of the hotel was quite dated - at least our room. The photos on Expedia didn’t quite translate into our experience, sadly, so it’s unlikely we’d stay again. On the plus, room service prices were very fair for London. Thanks for our stay.

Lovely historical home with great art. The location is close to Paddington, very convenient. The staff were very friendly and even insisted I take an umbrella which turned out very handy. The building is older so you hear some stairs creaking but nothing terrible and did not impact sleep.
