The Caesar Hotel

I am actually disheartened to leave this review as I have been staying at The Caesar for 4 years but unfortunately being kicked out on Christmas Eve morning which also happens to be the anniversary of death of my brother has left me no choice. I originally booked for one night on 22.12 but extended my stay on 23.12 and got changed room. To my surprise, upon changing room, I was handed a letter saying there was a lingering smell of smoke in the previous room I was staying in and that a 250 fee would be applied if I was smoking in the room. I do smoke and had not finished my last cigarette so it was in my bag but would never smoke in the room. I didnt think anything of it as I thought this was a misunderstanding and went out a few times on 23.12 to smoke (outside which is easy to prove) - as late as 2am. On 24.12, I decided to extend my stay for an extra night (after getting breakfast in room) as I did not feel mentally able to leave with my brother and so I extended my stay online. I was called 5 minutes later to be told this would not be possible as I keep smoking in the room & that apparently the smoke could be smelled from outside (not true, I checked and was typical Caesar scent). I was extremely surprised and asked them to come inspect my room. Two ladies came into my room and said there was a smell and they gave me 30 minutes to leave (had not even started my breakfast). Genuinely left wondering if this decision was racially motivated as I did not smoke in the room.

Great front desk staff. Clean and modern hotel. Highly recommend it.

Good service , clean room

Hotel is great, staff was good, but room is too small with open bathroom. I'll never understand hotels were toilet is open to the room. A shower or bathtub, fine, but not actual toilet. Also. Humindity in the room was extreme as no ventilation system/desumidifier was available

Great location, very clean room, rain shower was heavenly, breakfast and other meals were premium and healthy, staff was very friendly, kind and professional. I loved my room very much that I’ll be requesting it each time I’m in London. I usually stay at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington or the Kensington Hotel in South Kensington but the Caesar Hotel has now won me over and this is now my choice going forward.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times, and it never disappoints. The staff are consistently polite and friendly, and the rooms are always spotless. It’s always an enjoyable experience, and although this visit was only for one night, I hope to stay longer next time.

Our stay at The Caesar was a very nice experience. The place was clean, smelt great and service by Sayed and Pedro were exceptional. Breakfast was very impressive with the quality and variety.

Room is funky but there is no space for large luggage

Perfect location for me personally since I have a family member living nearby and it is an easy 6-7 min walk to/from Paddington. Rooms are small but fine and normal. Nice staff. Breakfast very good. Bar area is a little empty. I would definitely return.
