Great stay, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Staff are great and it’s easy to get to. Would highly recommend.

My third stay. Good rooms, friendly 'locals' pub and great food.

Booked after reading previous reviews and was prepared to give the hotel a go. On arrival friendly reception. Went to room, clean but dated TV the size of a small pc monitor. In the morning the room was cold and there was no hot water despite running water for over 5 mins. Heating eventuality on at 0645

Excellent dinners and breakfasts. Helpful staff and very good service. Good atmosphere in the bar and restaurant.

The room was very comfortable and warm and cosy. Great bed had a great nights sleep a very quiet location. Nice bathroom with shower and bath. The breakfast a full english well presented and very tasty and a good start to the day. Would stay here again.

A returning customer, room 10/10 Service 10/10 Breakfast, no Buffett, made to order. Full English and other choices. Not much variety but amazing! Excellent service, food in the evening - pub! Amazing!

The staff were super friendly and very efficient. The room was clean, warm, quiet and very comfortable. The pub & restaurant have an amazing wine selection, a superb selection of excellent beers from Lacons and fabulous food. All in all, hospitality how you would want it and food how you would dream about it! Fabulous.

The room had very good amenities and was very clean. Very good breakfast.

Lovely room, clean, quiet and nicely decorated in a separate building just beside the pub. Plenty of parking spaces so no long walk with bags and no steps up to the accommodation which made life easy. The staff were friendly and the evening meal was good. We had breakfast freshly cooked to order in the lovely bar/restaurant area and the choice and portions were plentiful. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again. We thought it was really good value for money and highly recommend.

The room was adequate with basic facilities. Shower room was not as clean as I had expected. Staff friendly and food good. I had to cut my stay short due to family commitments by one night, losing one bed & breakfast payment, but was not offered a refund. This was disappointing.

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. The dinner on the first night was delicious & they were able to cater for my gluten & lactose intolerances. Our room was small but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower nice & powerful. The room although next to the car park was quiet. The choice for breakfast was fairly small but was perfectly cooked & hot. All in all a great place to stay.

an OK stay. Room could do with some attention to carpet and walls - damp and flaking paint. The dinner (sunday) was average, pre-cooked and reheated and the butternut squash took some locating. For what was meant to be the main element I had 2 1x1cm squares of it in the polenta loaf - disappointing meal.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful the room was perfect with doors onto the garden. Air con was brilliant and the bed was really comfortable.

Good priced accommodation close to the coast sadly the room was not as good a our previous stay, lots of black mould in the en-suite and dirty shower door seals, there is no extractor fan which would help with the damp. Also dirt & cobweb behind the bedside cabinets where the plugs are. Pub and food itself was good, and staff couldn’t do enough.

plus air conditioning which was great in the heat. Beds are comfortable and had a great night's sleep. This was our second visit and a little disappointed with the menu but that was personal choice. Room - bedding spotless and shower and bath clean. However there were some areas where they need to clean ie the radiator. Running a fingers over the yowel rail was thick with dust and the blinds needed a clean. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the corners and over the bed. Staff - day time staff were pleasant enough when serving but were not very friendly or welcoming. A smile goes a long way! The lady serving breakfast, however, was lovely and very friendly.
