Excellent stay. Nicest kosher hotel in London. Plenty of parking and easy access to public transportation. Just up the street are numerous eateries. Lots of kosher options in the area and synagogues. Kosher breakfast is not included with the Expedia rate and is 20 pounds PP daily.

The Pillar Hotel is by far the best kosher hotel in Northwest London. Located along several bus routes, traveling around is very easy. The Hendon Underground stop is a close ten minute walk. The hotel offers a kosher breakfast. This is not included when booking through Expedia. Breakfast is 20 pounds PP daily. Better to walk up the street one of the local kosher eateries. The hotel offers no other meals, not even Shabbat. They will set up a fridge for you as well as a hotplate and place settings, but you must provide your own food. Parking is plentiful, the property quiet and idyllic and the staff very helpful and friendly. An excellent stay overall.

I was not aware that it was a kosher hotel which meant that I could not have a barrista coffee on Saturday. I did not feel a cold breakfast was worth £20. On my second day I went into Hendon to get a hot meal and proper coffee

Beautiful quiet haven. We spent some time in the courtyard, the beautiful weather was perfect for it. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodated an early check in as we were tired from travelling and arrived early in the morning. This was really appreciated. It is within 30 minutes of Luton airport and 20 minutes to Ally Pally and 5 minutes walk to the Underground so ideal for a short stay. There were plenty of bars and food places within a 10-15 minute walk. It is located withinin a beautiful area of London. Would highly recommend for a quiet few days away.

The property was very unique as the building was built around 1893 so the courtyard and the outside and certain structures held that beauty, while the rooms were clearly updated with modern bathrooms and beds and flooring. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We had a fridge in our room too. We would definitely stay here again!

Decent hotel. Depends what you're looking for. In a very residential area. Not a lot of activity in the area. A very good location if it is important to be near kosher facilities and synagogues. If you into touring in London - a bit out of the way. Rooms are somewhat spartan. A beautiful building and very nice grounds.

This is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are wonderful and comfy. The staff are top notch as well. The reason for the lower rating is perhaps something the hotel may not have much control over, but that is very noticeable. I love going learning about different cultures in my travels. It is clear that this hotel is also connected to a Jewish community organization which I think is wonderful. I just wish that the other patrons helped us feel more welcomed. At breakfast, my wife and I were often stared at by other patrons or looked down upon.
