Hotel staff were friendly and the location is great. Food was very good, particularly breakfast.
A few mishaps but didn’t spoil the experience ie charged again for the room even though I had paid in advance. The room although clean may have been finished in a hurry as no shampoo, soap etc.
One recommendation would be a different bar menu with lighter choices for those who don’t want to eat in the restaurant.

Second receptionist warmer than 1st. Maybe the offer of calling us when the room was ready instead of asking us to call to see if the room was ready would have been more efficient/going the extra mile.
Food was lovely, lovely village location.
Shame the sewage works was going on whilst we visited but not hotels fault.
Don’t agree with the service charge automatically being put on the food bill, food was lovely but not cheap and then 10% charge on top for serving two people. To be fair everywhere seems to be doing this now, I think it should be left to the customer to decide if they want to tip and how much.
Would recommend and visit again for an overnight stay.

Beautiful location, chocolate box pretty. Well appointed hotel with comfortable rooms, good menu and friendly staff. Only criticism would be that service was a little slow, but the food was good once it came. Would stay again.

Property was a bit tired in terms of decor, furniture and amenities. Particularly for the price point, it should be nicer & better quality. We arrived about 1pm, so earlier than check in, and went to the front desk to see if you could check in early or leave out bags. Before we could say anything we got told ‘check in isn’t until 3’ - which we were aware of but just found very abrupt and not very welcoming. When we finally did check in, the other lady (think she was called Zoe) was lovely. Our room, Hawtrey (maybe), a deluxe room, was very spacious but the noise heard from the family above was really really loud. I wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel and surroundings are just beautiful. The staff were so pleasant and really couldn’t do enough for you ! The room although a classic was a very good size and the bed was soo comfortable

A great choice for anyone visiting the Cotswolds as Lower Slaughter is a wonderful village and the hotel is in a perfect position. The only reason for it not making 5 stars was that the radiator in our room was not hot and we were there when it was particularly cold. Secondly, dinner was quite expensive and was not served as hot as you would expect. However staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Overall would recommed this hotel for a really comfortable stay in a great location.

Loved our stay at the quaint Slaughters Country Inn. Room was cosy and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice but our only suggestion would be to change the menu with different daily specials or have a different bar menu to offer more choice. We will be staying again.

Amazing stay at The Slaughters inn. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked. Room was clean and had fantastic toiletries by L'occitane. Staff were exceptional both helpful and showed true care would definitely recommend. Oh forgot to mention the gardens and the inn is just the prettiest surrounding's so very peaceful
