Nice clean room, friendly and helpful staff

We loved our night at the Stump! We had a nice pizza for lunch when we arrived and sat outside in the sunshine. We found the room to be comfortable and cozy.I opted for a light breakfast of toast and jam and really enjoyed it. Gotta love granary bread (can’t get in USA!) The home grown tulips on the tables were a nice touch too. Everything about the place was pleasing. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!

Excellent choice to stay. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Garden area was lovely in the sun and the freshly cooked Pizza was first class. Delicious cooked breakfast. The service from the staff was also very attentive and friendly. We immediately recommended this place to our friends for a short break.

We had a lovely one night stay at The Stump while visiting our son who lives in Cirencester. It’s very well located and just what we were hoping for. Our room was warm and comfortable and well furnished, the service was friendly. Breakfast was nice and we had an evening meal the night before which was delicious.

Loved the stay at the Stump. Ironed sheets, very clean and comfortable beds. Perfect!

Amazing stay, really beautiful pub and the room was immaculate. Food tasted very good and all the staff were lovely. Decorated really well.

Great nothing was any trouble, they did our gluten free & lactose free diet. The quality & quantity off food was excellent.

Excellent location between the famous places in Cotswold. Friendly staffs, outstanding pizza, ragu pasta for dinner, the portion of breakfast was big and tasty. Love the cosy pub restaurant with a pool table. It was quite busy already when we got there around 6ish, the restaurant was fully booked. At least we were able to sit down at the bar area. Do book a table in advance. Room is spotless and warm, twin double beds were comfy and enough for us 3 or fam of 4, basically with everything we needed.

Good rooms with a nice pub with good food options

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a weekend away and my goodness was it a good choice! Every single member of staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and very good quality. We even booked in advance the stump for dinner - please book ahead of arrival as it was busy & the food was delicious. We booked the master suite with the bath in our room, was completely worth it, who suite was immaculately clean, lovely bathroom and the bed was so comfy we didn’t want to get out! Will definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Great hotel and great pub. Can’t wait to go back. The staff was wonderful.

Breakfast was excellent and a comfortable bed, bathroom tiered. Evening meals were rubbish if you don’t like pizza find somewhere else to eat. Seeing it was the only thing they did they need better choices
