voco OXFORD THAMES by IHG, an IHG Hotel

We had an event here and the staff were fantastic .Got to mention Scott as nothing was too much trouble on the set up and also Natalie who was also fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel either for work or pleasure .

It's OK but could be better having to pay to park is not acceptable for guests!

Lovely welcoming staff, with honeycomb from their own bees. Lovely building, quiet and relaxing. Nice spa with treatments. Good buffet breakfast with lots of options overlooking the thames. An hours walk along the thames into oxford. Or a short bus ride from right outside the hotel. Would recommend.

Front desk was amazing and friendly. The room is very nice and super comfortable and the food at the restaurant was A M A Z I N G!!! We actually decided to extend our stay and stay here for a second night before going back to Heathrow instead going back to London for our last night. It’s just beautiful here.

This is a true gem of a hotel and we felt that it was perfectly located for our needs. It is a lovely hour long riverside stroll into Oxford Our only complaint would be that you have to pay for parking on site. If parking must be made we would prefer to have the charge added to the bill rather than appear as an extra charge Every staff member was incredible and could not do enough to make our stay more pleasurable. Bonus points for having a sauna and steamroom We will be visiting again Thank you to all at the team at Voco Oxford Thames for making our stay a genuinely enjoyable one

Outstanding location

We stayed for a mini break, just two nights. Really fortunate to have a ground floor room. The room was great, really spacious, kingsize bed and really well furnished and decorated. The bathroom was excellent with a great shower. We had dinner the first night, very enjoyable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and excellant produce. The setting by the side of the Thames was good, we enjoyed walking along the towpath. All in all a great stay and highly recommended.

Nearly died in a car crash - no refund despite prior warning and verifiable proof we were on the way.

My partner and I had a lovely time in this hotel. Heet from reception was especially helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the service throughout the facilities were great. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Fantastic location in an amazing suite of buildings. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious comfortable and warm rooms. Lovely breakfast and bar. The whole ambience was just relaxing. Bus stop right outside hotel for a cheap 25 min journey to Oxford centre.

The hotel was so clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed and more. Every member of staff that we came across was really friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and we had a beautiful, huge, cloud-like bed. The pool was lovely and clean. The filtered bottles of water are a really lovely touch, along with the honeycombe on arrival. I have dietry requirements, which were catered to wonderfully for breakfast and when we ordered room service (which was yum!)

Think it is a bit rich to charge hotel guests for parking, it should be part of the fee. Also, the room was advertised as providing breakfast for two, but it was in fact only for one

Visited the spa and had an incredible massage and facial. Such friendly staff, lovely food and great sized rooms. Bed was comfy and room was clean! Highly recommend

Friendly reception staff, beautiful beamed room (king premium) in the old part of the hotel. The staff in the restaurant, both for breakfast and especially evening dinner were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The pool, sauna and steam room were great

Excellent hotel with period characteristics and good relaxing grounds. Near park and ride but frequent bus service to Oxford outside drive.
