Clean and tidy room with good air conditioning.There are 2 flight of stairs to climb if staying in room located at level 9 as the lift only serves till level 8.There are supermarkets within 500m and the walking distance from train station to hotel is between 400m to 500m where there are 2 flight of stairs to climb if you walk from train platform 1 to 3.

I normally like Scandinavian-type beds, but this one was too firm and hurt my hips. Room was very small but fine because I was solo. Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was typical Nordic buffet, and sufficient to keep me going while sightseeing. Hotel is close to public transportation, and the Central Train Station isn't terribly far. Helsinki can be hilly with lots of uneven cobblestones, so be prepared!

Prior to arrival, hotel emailed me instructions on different ways to travel to hotel from the airport. I greatly appreciate this because it was my first visit to the city. I was also able to store my luggage after checking out in order to go to a day trip. Hotel is conviniently located just under 10 minutes' walk from the main entrance of Helsinki Central train station. Will stay at the hotel again!

Basic 3 star popular with tour groups and teen school groups. Clean though outdated decor, electric and bathroom. Decent beds. Nice breakfast buffet. No cafe or dining on weekends. Counter staff exhibit only basic courtesy.
