Mango Hotel

Exceptionally helpful staff, very clean and surprisingly good breakfast.

I think it is worth the price. Location ain’t that bad, the room was clean and pretty confy. I expected maybe a bit more from the breacfast but it was still fine.

Quite part of town, despite being in an industrial area. Don't be put off by outward appearance. Strange security system - needed to enter a code 3 times to get through front door, internal door and finally into room. Then again into breakfast room in the morning.

OK, beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was good, no complains with breakfast. Wifi worked OK all the time. There was only one power supply in the bedroom and quite far from the bed :(

First impression is of a drab, run-down place, but first impressions can be wrong. Pluses: friendly, helpful proprietors and staff; adequate free parking; 15 minutes walk to the Koskikeskus shopping centre; 12 minutes walk to the Hatampaan Arboretum; small supermarket and plenty of buses close by; comfortable, clean bed; decent size room, clean and with adequate wardrobe space; clean ensuite with excellent shower and heated towel rail; fresh air pumped into room; proper fridge in room; decent breakfast; breakfast room doubles up as a kitchen for guests to use; quiet, despite being in the middle of a commercial/industrial area; good coffee available all hours; pretty cheap. Minuses: not many: no frills; very heavy carved wood furniture; bed had projections on the corners at calf height, causing a nasty bruise; no air conditioning (pumped air was filtered, but could not be cooled or heated); we arrived on a Friday and the room was not made up until the Monday, then every day; room safe did not work (may just have needed fresh batteries, but we didn't report it as we had no need of it).

A well serviced, ideally located hotel, close to city centre and transport

After spending 3 nights in a hostel, this hotel was a welcome break for my partner and I. We had a lovely stay and the room was clean and tidy. The only negative about our stay was the location. This hotel is located on an industrial estate and was a half hour walk in to the centre. Aside from the location I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Best choice in Tampere if you have a car. Walkable to center. Owners are very nice and go out of their way to be helpful.

Easy to find hotel in quite location on the edge of town, plenty of parking. Hotel staff very welcoming even though they had to wait for our late arrival at 23:30. Good breakfast.

Pysäköinti helppo

Huoneessa oli erittäin kuuma koko ajan, jääkaapissa oli osittain syödyt edellisen asukkaan ruuat, aamiainen jätti toivomisen varaa. Ilmainen parkki oli hyvä

Vastaanoton mies oli ripeä ja kohtelias. Huone oli siisti. Hotelli oli kaikin puolin vähän "wonky", mutta kaikki sujui ja saimme nukuttua.

Ystävällinen palvelu respassa, siisti huone, iso jääkaappi ja yhteisissä tiloissa mikro niin saa lämmitettyä ruokaa työmatkalla kun ei jaksa ulos syömään.Ilmainen parkkipaikka on plussa!

Henkilökunta ystävällistä, parkkialue ahdas ja pieni, mutta lopulta löytyi vapaapaikka. Kiva pieni huone, mutta sopi hyvin yön yli nukkumiseen. Olisimme toivoneet illaksi jotain pientä iltapalaa vaikkapa automaatista limsaa ja jotain naposteltavaa tai jos olisi voinut esim. ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä ostaa jotain. Emme löytäneet mitään kahvilaa, kioskia tai ravintolaa lähiympäristöstä emmekä osanneet varautua omiin eväisiin. Kuitenkin positiivinen kokemus kaikkiaan :-)
