From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff were not only professional but genuinely warm and attentive—nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The chalet lounge was an absolute delight: rustic charm meets modern comfort, with plush seating, a crackling fireplace, and an inviting ambiance that made it hard to leave. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the private balcony offered breathtaking panoramic views that changed beautifully with the light throughout the day. A truly memorable stay.

This was our fourth visit to Megeve, but our first time staying at Au Coin du Feu. We plan to become regulars! The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood on a hill, just a short walk from the center of the village. Our room was absolutely perfect with cozy stone and wood features, a modern bathroom, a charming balcony and even a view of Mont Blanc. We loved the easy, wholesome breakfast in the morning and the access to the steam room and the sauna, too. The best part of our stay was the staff; Thomas, Julie, and Maria made us feel right at home and took great care to make sure our stay was fantastic.
Megeve was already an enchanting place to visit. Now that we've discovered Au Coin du Feu, we're looking forward to our next visit even more.

Very clean, functional room. Typical French shower where everything gets wet. Room was a bit small, but that's the room we chose. No official parking available, but some nearby street parking worked out fine.

Great hotel, very good staff and excellent location. The rooms are small (at least my room was) so just have to thoughful around that. Very clean and totally recommended though. Would go as a couple, not sure that room could take any kids with the room.

The rooms were really tidy and smart. All the touches were typicaly alpine. The service was very friendly and nothing was to much for them. The young lady at reception even made a phone call for me in French which I am very grateful. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hotel in every way. Service was superb - especially Julia at the front desk. She makes the place run like clockwork. Some rooms have been renovated in a modern, boutique style. Others are scheduled for renovation and retain their mountain chalet-like charm. The lobby fireplace and sitting area is adorable and amenities like the sheets, bathrobes, and slippers were first-class. The hotel is just up the hill in town but a few steps from the gondolas that take you to the slopes. Don't overlook the restaurant, which was the best one we ate at in Megeve. And that's saying a lot as we've dined in Michelin rated restaurants all over that area. Do note however, that there is no free parking, or any parking, provided by the hotel. You'll have to park on the side streets or the main street (free after 8PM) or in one of the town's many garages.

Great stay - three friends in a triple room which was spacious and ideal for us. Lots of storage room, places for cases to be stowed etc. My only gripes (and this is picky) are that the lighting in the room wasn't great so it was a bit gloomy and the shower head didn't attach to the wall very well, so was prone to overshooting the bath.

The front desk was very kind and helpful....they rustled up a plate of meats and cheeses when we arrived late the first evening. The hotel is located about a 2 min walk from the centre of the village and main chair lift - ensuring that we spent more time on the slopes rather than commuting to/from the lift. The room was French rustic, but warm, clean, quiet and comfortable. Megeve is not a place for a cheap and cheerful break, but this hotel was decent value and I certainly would recommend it.
