Stayed for 4 nights. Very nice hotel, modern with a quirkiness that is endearing. Has a coffee house that opened 24/7. Staffs are helpful and friendly, speak good English. Location is perfect. Minutes away from metro, straight to Gare du Nord or to CDG airport. Many attractions within walking distance: Norte Dame, Pantheon, Luxembourg Garden, Sombone university, Louvre, not to mention many eateries hidden amongst the Parisian buildings and alleys.

Everyone at the front desk was really kind and helpful. It was s short walk from the train station and about a 15 minute walk from Notre-Dame. The neighborhood was fantastic and plenty of restaurants near by.

French Theory was the perfect place for me alone in Paris!! The staff was super friendly & always so helpful!! The location was great for walking to so much & close to the bus & Metro when needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is on a very safe, quiet street; close to good cafe, restaurants, RER and metro stations. 10 min walk to Notre Dame de Paris and a 25 mins walk to the Louvre. The staff at the hotel were exceptional. They were all very pleasant, polite and helpful. Our room was small with no storage for clothing, very few hangers and one coat hook. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning system worked well. Bathroom was also small but clean and housekeeping passed everyday to replenish our towels and change bedsheets if requested. We had a very nice stay.

Perfect landing spot. Small very well designed rooms. Excellent service. Cheerful, comfortable. I've stayed in some very depressing and dingy Paris hotels in this price bracket and this place is a real find. Couldn't be better located. 5 minute walk from RER so very easy to get there from CDG. Only one thing: bathroom lighting makes makeup application very challenging. Maybe now that men are wearing makeup hotels will figure this out.

French Theory was exactly what I wanted: just enough space for me and my suitcase, a private bathroom, and walking distance from lots of sightseeing spots. Easily accessible by Metro/bus as well. Room was clean and cozy with a functional air conditioning system (a must in spring/summer). Less than a block from L’Ptit Grec creperie, where you can get the best crepes in town. I had only two complaints: 1) the shower leaks significantly across the bathroom floor. I had to mop it with a towel and ring it out several times. If you roll up one of the big towels and keep it at the base of the shower door it helps a lot. (Photo included) 2) toward the end of our stay, the building next door began construction. This isn’t French Theory’s fault, but the noise was aggressive from about 8am on. Besides that, it was perfect for our stay in Paris. Bonus points for the cafe operating 24/7, too!

Very convenient locations with easy access to trains and buses to central paris within 30 minutes. A number of historic spots and beautiful gardens in walking distance too. Staff are very welcoming. The room is not as big as the picture shown but contain all basic necessities with cleanliness.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. It’s very convenient to transit and many sites around turn. The hotel is off a pedestrian road so it’s lovely and quiet. I’ll definitely stay there again.
