The location of the hotel was excellent and very convenient for getting around Nice. However, several issues significantly impacted our stay.
If you need a quiet night’s sleep, this is not the place. It was noisy until the early hours, followed by loud disturbances from bottles being thrown into bins and collected. This then continued from around 7–8am with nearby restaurants creating further noise, making it very difficult to rest.
The rooms felt quite outdated. There were no plug sockets by the bed, and only one working socket in the room, which three of us had to share — not practical at all.
The beds were acceptable, but the biggest issue was the lack of hot water. When we tried to shower, there was only cold water. When we raised this with staff, we were told there was nothing they could do, which was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
In addition, the shower gel holder was broken — the front kept falling off during use and even hit my foot, which was both annoying and not ideal from a safety perspective.
Finally, while luggage storage was offered, there didn’t appear to be any clear system or security. Bags were left in an open area where anyone could potentially access them, which didn’t feel safe.
Overall, while the location is a strong point, the experience was let down by noise, poor facilities, and lack of resolution to key issues.
