Hôtel des Arts Bastille

Very convenient for a night stay over before we caught the train to Provence.

Fantastic family room that offered a queen bed and 2 twin beds, large shower, and Nespresso coffee maker. Room lacked a safe though we could leave items at reception. Appreciated being able to use fridge in breakfast room since none in room. Near to bus 69 line and metro but also walkable to many sites. Would stay here again.

Great area. Short walk to the metro but lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Nice hotel with clean modern rooms.

I was just a couple blocks away from a main Subway / Train station to go in which ever direction you choose. There are some food places with in the same distance. quite, safe, and hotel people are so friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Great value stay in a great location

Just a noisy street, not much of a breakfast and a ton of dust under the bed just found on the last day when i dropped something and it rolled under the bed.

The property had electrical issues due to rain and our room had no light. The breaker kept flipping. However, the hotel staff did offer us a spare room on our floor with a working light so we could shower and prep for bed complimentary. It was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet offers were pretty great and their service was amazing. The location was close to the metro and various delicious cafes/pastry shops/restaurant. Would stay here again.

The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. He encouraged me to speak French although I don’t get the opportunity to speak it much. He said if I got to spend a month in France with my vocabulary I would be comfortable speaking French. I had asked for a room in my booking on an upper floor but I was given one on the first floor but it was very quickly changed to the top floor as I wanted to get sleep. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need except for shower gel. There was liquid soap in the shower. It was good to have two free bottles of water and coffee pods. There was enough sockets for plug charging for devices but no usb points but thats a minor issue. All in all I can't failt the hotel. It's in a good neighbourhood with the Charonne metro station a few minutes walk away and plenty of small grocery stores and food places. I would definitely consider returning.

Location was good with 5 min walk to Metro. Comfortable beds. Small room but had storage and desk area. Clean. Good price.

I found this property was very different from advertised. The rooms in the photos have big beautiful art behind a cozy looking bed. My room was just grey walls with an IKEA-type bed. Multiple times throughout different parts of the day there were bags of laundry in the hallway that I literally stepped over to get through. I also had some miscommunication with the check in desk that left me sitting around in the lobby for over an hour waiting for my room. It was okay with me if the room wasn't ready. In fact, I hadn't asked to check in, only to set my bag down so I could go get something to eat. Strangely they had a pile of people's bags in the breakfast room. Even though they had a closed closet for luggage. It was an hour wasted because the check in person kept telling me the room is almost ready, it'll just be this many more minutes. But that time kept getting longer and longer. I would have been happy not to rush them and come back. I only had 2 full days in Paris and any time wasted sitting in a hotel lobby was time not spent exploring. The nice things about this hotel are there is air conditioning, which is hard to find in Paris, but becoming more and more necessary during summers. The room was very clean and had a convenient place to hang and place clothes. Which can also be hard to find in Paris. The location is really good. Charming cafes are right below. It's a quick walk to the metro, where the stop is very convenient to access from the rest of Paris.

Charmant petit hôtel avec une décoration soignée. Les chambres sont petites mais très pratiques. Accueil très chaleureux (thé, café, madeleines!). Petit déjeuner délicieux avec du pain frais, viennoiserie et jus d'orange fraîchement pressé.
