Hôtel des Orfèvres

We stayed for a week on a mother daughter trip to Paris. We really enjoyed our little hotel room. The bedding is amazing and the decor is beautiful and very calming. We upgraded to a 5th floor unit with a balcony -which was a lovely addition. Our hotel room had a large y shaped beam floor to ceiling at the foot of our bed which was not disclosed and although it was beautiful to look at it -it took up the majority of the walking space at the end of our bed.. we are smaller girls but a larger man would have not been happy- and it also blocked the ability to see the flatscreen on the wall. overall we totally loved the hotel!

The location was great...right in the center of things. The staff was amazing...very friendly and eager to help. The only issue we had was that the junior suite was too tight and had no proper window. We paid a premium price and were expecting a better room, but other than that, everything was perfect so still giving hotel 5 star review.

The hotel was lovely and clean and quiet. The staff accommodated us quite last minute and were very welcoming and were great with my kids. The breakfast was good and had a nice selection. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a quieter experience. You can walk to some big attractions fairly quickly so its location is convenient.

Because of an issue we had at another hotel, we had to do a last minute 1-night booking. The staff and managers at the hotel were kind and accommodating. They helped us get into our room, made sure we had what we needed, and went above and beyond with helping us book the remainder of our stay in Paris at des Orfèvres. Rooms were clean and quiet. Location was just right.

Amazing stay in a great location!

Beautiful, brand new hotel. All of the staff were superb helpful and the rooms and whole hotel was beautifully decorated. I stayed in a Junior suite and the bed was super comfy and the room really quiet. I travel to Paris a lot for work and this will definitely be my new regular stay.

We were very happy with this hotel. It was near the Seine and very convenient. We had meant to have breakfast outside the hotel but after trying the hotel breakfast the first morning we ate there every morning it was so good. The staff were always available and the rooms were comfortable in a quiet location.

The staff were fantastic! The room was very clean. The staff bring your luggage to your room when it is ready . Excellent location! Free umbrellas to use!

Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated room. We were able to unpack and still have a tidy room - shelves, hangers and hooks abound, even in the bathroom which was relatively large with a great shower, new porcelain fixtures and faucets. We could open the floor to ceiling windows in our room which were thoughtfully draped with floor length sheers for privacy. When closed, these windows effectively blocked any city noise. The hallways, stairs, breakfast nook and foyer were also beautifully decorated. The chinoiserie wall paper in the eating area was stunning. A genuinely French experience. The front desk and waitstaff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. My partner is gluten intolerant and they were able to accommodate their needs. The hotel is perfectly situated - we walked everywhere, visited all the Parisian sites and an array of dining/cafe options. Though very close to the Seine, it is tucked into a corner such that there is less motor and foot traffic, making for less noise and fuss. We would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location and newly renovated hotel. Although the room was small, which is typical for Paris, it was thoughtfully decorated with style and amenities. The neighborhood was safe for nighttime activities.

Fantastic location, nicest staff. Everything was new and clean. Every time we had a question the staff went above and beyond to help us out. They were very helpful for English speakers.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were cozy and clean. Breakfast was incredible! Great location and easily walkable to tourist attractions and shopping. Very close to the metro.

This hotel opened only 5 days before we visited. Not all the rooms were completed yet, including the one we reserved. They discounted our stay by about 15%, which we appreciated. The room we were in was beautifully decorated and everything worked well. They were eager to be helpful. They say they offer a shuttle service to the airport and train stations, but that’s not exactly true. They will reserve a taxi for you, just like any hotel would. This hotel has a great location near many tourist attractions and near lots of cafes and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel in a great part of town. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. We could walk to many places and the ones far away we just hopped on the metro. The breakfast was very good also. Wonderful place to stay. The next time we come back to Paris, we will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay and the staff was awesome!
