Hôtel Gaillon Opéra

Hotel was in a good location. Easy to walk to the louvre and surrounding sites. Very nice entrance. The only concern was that the room did not look like the one in the pictures. It was surprisingly small. Enough to walk around the bed and to the bathroom. Comfortable for one person or maybe two with little to no luggage. Other wise customer service was excellent.

Very small rooms, uncomfortable beds, terrible towels, part of the staff are very friendly and polite, others are not the same. The area is ok, plenty of restaurants around. Good for shopping and for the Opera theatre.

The staff is all very polite, and you can ask any number of questions….they always welcome you warmly, and assist With anything. This was my second stay here, and will be returning in March…..one less thing to worry about on a european vacation.

The first night of our stay, about 4:30 in the morning, the ceiling in our bathroom fell down. It scared us to death. The staff was terrific and moved us to another room in the morning when we reported it. The night desk person (unfortunately, I didn’t get his name) was so helpful and personable. We would stay there again.

Nice central hotel, clean very helpful reception staff, room size ok but no where to hang anything even a coat

French hotel with lots of charm and conveniently located for meal options and 10 minutes walk to the Louvre

The hotel was conveniently located and is easily found, within walking distance to Garnier opera, Lafayette Gallery, louvre museum to Place de la Concorde. clean rooms and comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, in special, Jeph. He takes the time to answer any question I may have and provide me with the easy way to return to the Gare Nord Station, my last day. I highly recommend the hotel.

Tiny room. No fridge.

This is a terrific little hotel with relatively affordable rates in an area of Paris close to the Avenue de l'Opera that has lots of little bakeries, bistros, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room I stayed in was small but clean and stylishly modern, and it had most of what I needed, including a small desk with power outlets, a comfortable bed with power outlets nearby, and a nice modern shower with separate controls for temperature and water pressure. As I said, it's a small room, and there was no space where I could open up my large suitcase and leave it open. Also, there is a space where you can hang your clothes, but it's oddly short, with too much space taken up by an in-room safe that I never used. The hotel staff spoke English and was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was also helpful that I could buy water bottles (and other drinks/snacks) in the lobby at any time, although a small water bottle was 3 euros while at other stores in the area it was 2.20. Unfortunately, like many hotels in Paris, the cold/heat A/C setting is set for the entire building at once, so if the building is set on Heat and you want it cold, you're out of luck. (Fortunately the weather was such that most of the time, this wasn't a problem for me.) Overall I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place for its location, comfort, convenience and staff.

A lovely hotel. Very clean. We had a quadruple room which had four comfy beds and plenty of space. The hotel was in a nice area. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Geoff with his fine map drawing skills.

Fantastic hotel

The staff was very friendly. They even have a small elevator. However, the room was extremely small and there was a hairball in the bathroom.

Good location, nice staff, clean. Wish there was a mini frig!

The area was great, tons of shops, close to the Opera house. However, we ended up having to change rooms due to an abundance of ants. But the staff was super helpful in making the switch.

Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location with very friendly staff.

Location location. Close to the opera and close to place vendome amd to the Louvre and la Concorde . All walkable in 10 minutes. Comfortable little hotel. Receptionists all very friendly there the 24 hours.

Convenient. Let's be honest, Paris is not quiet! We only saw 2 homeless people in our 3 night stay, laying outside on the curb. The facilities were very clean and quaint. You will need to use your door key to operate the electricity!

Es demasiado dinero la noche con relación a lo que ofrece , la habitación tiene olor a polvo , no tiene plancha , no tiene refrigerador , básicamente son 4 pareces y dos camas.

The staff is excellent & has a nice touch in the lobby where you can purchase wine & snacks. The hotel is close to the underground & about a 20 minute walk to the Lourve.
