Room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Chocolates were given on Christmas and Champagne on New Year’s Eve. Street side view was great. Access to Blanche Metro station steps away. Definitely would stay there again.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast very tasty, our family room was very spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. Hotel is on a very busy road but other than a bit of traffic noise it was a cosy oasis. A great location to explore Montmarte and rest of the city.

Amazing stay that truly felt 5-star for the price. The hotel is in a perfect location, just a 3-minute walk from Blanche and Pigalle metro stations, which made getting anywhere in Paris incredibly easy. The room was very clean, cleaned every day, and the bedsheets were fresh and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the room felt well kept throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic hotel in a great area and would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Everything is perfect apart from the noise, staff kindly changed our room to the 7th floor from 2nd to have leas noise, however due to the location, there are lots of noise from the street. So if you want a quiet night sleep, this is not the right hotel. But if you are looking for a hotel with easy transportation and easy walking distance to nice tourists attractions, this is your hotel.

From the time we walked in the door before the reception, there is a weird smell, it was very dark also. The check in was fine, we went to our room, that was TINY, also seemed dirty and unkept, smelled so strong like cigarettes as well. I understand they can’t control the outside noise, but let me tell you, the shouting didn’t stop from the street ALL night. Why you ask? Expedia doesn’t specify where exactly this hotel is located, but it’s a block away from the moulin rouge, and it is SURROUNDED by strip bars and sex toy shops. I believe every review that paints this hotel in a positive way is a fake review, and is very deceptive to post and let people believe they are making a good choice. Unfortunately, we were not given a refund and had to tough it out, we made it to where we literally only showered and slept there because it’s definitely not a hotel or a room you would like to go back to for a little afternoon rest. If you have children or even teenagers, please look for other options.

Room was filled with mould. Dirty floors & balcony didn’t have any cover so couldn’t use it due to bad weather. Paid extra for the balcony room possibly Eiffel Tower view but the buildings blocked it.

Initially, the location was not as I expected, though the pictures are online were great. The hotel ambience Differed to me, but not a negative way. The staff on my initial arrival was great however, on my last night there a person who said they were the receptionist banged on my door for us being too loud and created a whole situation when it could’ve been remedied more smoothly by a gentle volume warning, but it was everything but that. Very loud, a bit aggressive, and then apologetic, threatening a little, but overall, I got what I paid for, and the location was centralized, which I really loved.

We had a fantastic stay at Le Chat Noir in Paris. The staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Even though we expected a boutique-style hotel, it exceeded our expectations. Our Room 604 was very comfortable with an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower — watching it sparkle at night was unforgettable! With the windows open, we could hear some street noise, which wasn’t surprising given the hotel’s proximity to the Moulin Rouge, but we actually enjoyed it as part of the lively Parisian atmosphere. With the windows closed, the room was quiet. The building felt very secure, as entry required buzzing in and using a key card to access our floor. There was always someone available at reception 24/7, and we appreciated having a safe in the room. Breakfast (7–11 a.m.) was excellent, with a bright dining area and a wide selection — hot eggs and sausages, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, cereals, yogurt, juices, and great coffee and tea options. The location was perfect, close to 3 metro stations, walkable to Montmartre, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Le Chat Noir!

I enjoyed my stay at Hôtel Le Chat Noir. The building itself felt very safe and the staff made me feel very welcome right away. They were able to store my luggage and even had my room ready a few hours early! The room was very clean and nice, the bed was very comfortable. The aesthetic of the hotel itself was very cool. It was super convenient that the hotel is located next to two metro stations and on a major street corner, so it was very easy to get around using public transport or a taxi. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris, and I would likely stay here again.

The hotel was excellent! I stayed here for 8 nights, and the staff were very welcoming from the first day. The location is fantastic for those who want to be close to Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge. It was also easy to get an Uber or a G7 taxi from this location.
