Hôtel Normandy

It was a decent place to stay for one night. We rented bicycle from the hotel and they were in good shape, although one of them only had a working front break.

This was an overnight stay for our journey from CDG to Bayeux after a long flight. It served its purpose as it provided a good night's rest before we head on to Bayeux. The room was extremely small and had very little counter space for our things, and the bathroom had a sheer curtain over the window (which faces another room) which was an issue for us. But for an overnight stay, it served the purpose. Do not recommend for longer stay.

The hotel was convenient and quiet.

All was good.

Early bag security room, and Noon checkout were good amenities for us. Room very modern

Business like hotel great for local touring such as Monet's garden . Secure pay to park car park (steep access).

The physical appearance of the hotel is very likable. My room and bathroom were very nice but i would give 7 out 10 points or 3 stars out of 5 for the following reason: it's very customary now a days to find in the room a bottle of water, and a tea/coffee maker. In many hotels they have a station with water, tea and coffee for the guests. This hotel gives you zero, nothing, du rien, nada, nule... In my case after a River Cruise I stayed 5 nights in different cities I was visiting and in ALL, i repeat again, ALL, i received a bottle of water, tea and coffee maker, a candy or chocolate. In my case after all this traveling and not a very good weather I had a little cold and the last thing I wanted to do was to go shopping for water or tea. When I went to their restaurant to have dinner, of course, I ordered the tea. I was expecting to see a little jar with enough hot water and the bag of tea. I had to ask the waiter to refill the cup to bring it to my room to finish with my tea. When i was going up to my room with my tea he wasn't very happy and asked me for the number of my room. I felt very uncomfortable. So, the impression i got from this hotel is that they are not very generous. Would i come back again there? Maybe well equipped with water and the tea/coffee maker. In other words, NO, because for me generosity and kidness make me feel welcomed. Read my following review about the Petit Oberkampf in Paris, where I'm at this moment,10 stars if no more and we'll deserved!!

Have stayed before , staff , location and rooms are excellent . Restaurant is great value for money. WiFi is consistently strong

Excellent breakfast and dinner options. Local band played during dinner on Saturday night. Room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient location near train station and Giverny.

Excellent base of operations for exploring Normandy. Clean friendly service. Amazing food! Best steak we ate the entire time in Normandy. Staff speaks some English, some shifts. Tourists who are respectful and learn a few words in French will be fine. Check in and check out are same as English. Just like futbol.

Hotel was a 15 minute walk from the train station. Flat terrain. Quick check in. Very comfortable bed, no air conditioning, but there was a fan. Our room was on first floor and overlooked a parking area which was quite noisy around midnight. No tea and coffee facilities in room. Lovely breakfast and also had a very nice dinner there one night. We felt not a lot of eating choices in the town. Easy one hour walk to Monet's garden across the bridge and along Seine biking/walking path.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking can be a pain. Close to everything.

Wonderful property, staff is helpful. Great location. Parking a bit tight but worked fine. Breakfast was good and plenty of restaurants nearby too!

Has triple room and it has a good size. Well located and walking distance to town center restaurants, quick drive to Monet Garden.
