This is a decent budget hotel, exactly what we needed. Approx. 20 minutes from the port of Caen. We arrived after 11pm and received a pleasant greeting. Parking is secure which was great for us as we had bikes on the back of the car. Room was clean, bit strange that the toilet was separate from the bathroom but no big deal. Would stay again.

We stayed for 1 night.Parking good and secure. Our bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The room very basic.Unfortunately the bathroom was not good.High step in bath.Dirty plug and mold around the edges. The rubbish bin had not been emptied from previous occupant. Soundproofing not good.We were woken early due to other residents showering and banging doors etc.

The hotel boasts a restaurant but we were told at reception it was unavailable on the night of our stay, meaning we had to go into town to eat. Getting back we found it full, a coach party being given priority over the other guests. On leaving they could find no trace of us paying our local tax althogh we'd paid in cash the day before. All a bit shabby really and how the hotel is ranked 3 stars is a mystery. Would not stay again.

Hotel was ok, in dodgy area but quiet enough. No restaurant on as it was bank holiday in France, staff felt like they didn't want to be there and were really not bothered. Room was ok, basic, no tea/coffee you had to go to reception and it was not a comfortable experience. We left early and didn't try food.

It was perfect for what we wanted. Family room was great - 2 room apartment basically but the kids couldn't go anywhere without going past us. Car park seemed safe and secure. Only thing to make it a perfect score would be a kettle in the room and air conditioning. There are no shops/resturants nearby so eating/drinking is in the dining room or travelling out. .

Although it was in the suburbs it felt unsafe around the immediate hotel grounds. People were milling around in the car park. I don’t know what was going. We got up early and weee glad to leave.

Friendly staff, hotel had been recently decorated, excellent breakfast. However restaurant was closed and nowhere locally to eat on a Saturday night when we arrived, which was disappointing. To add to this we arrived in the midst of a heatwave, no air-conditioning, heat unbearable but thankfully reception did give us a small fan when we enquired. Though ill equipped for such hot weather, we would stay again

Friendly, helpful and very accommodating front staff. Breakfast was great - lots of options - especially like the variety of breads, jams and eggs. Beds were very comfy. After a long and busy day at the sights and museum in Caen, we arrived about 7 pm expecting to have a nice dinner and a glass of wine. Unfortunately the dining room was closed because they were hosting a bus tour group. Ugh!! rather disappointing - the staff suggested several local restaurants or take out. So we decided on a pizza take-out and when I went back down to the desk to have them help me order, the kitchen staff took pity on a little old lady and made us a very nice meal with salad - and a big glass of wine. That was a sign of "above and beyond" and very much appreciated. A suggestion would be have a portion of the restaurant partitioned off for guests who are not on a tour - even just a portable type screen. Interestingly enough we were from Canada and we could hear the people in the tour group talking about "back home in Canada" The dining room is beautifully appointed - outdoor patio looked very inviting - just that the weather didn't cooperate. Liked the parking lot - felt safe leaving the car overnight - rather than in a public parking lot or on the street. Very quiet - had a great sleep Would definitely stay again - and recommend it to others.
