Lovely quiet and comfortable hotel. Easy to find and attractive views. We didn't use the spa facilities but had a good meal at the restaurant and the breakfast is good.

Great hotel with attentive and friendly English speaking staff. The rooms were newly refurbished and spotless. The food was really excellent. The pool was a nice place to chill. Lovely area with lots to do for couples and families.

Beautiful property & fab breakfast. Didn’t use all the facilities as we were exploring the area. Very little English was spoken to us, fine for me but my Mum would’ve struggled. A few more smiles from the staff would’ve been nice too

Lovely setting in modernised old mill. Very good dinner and breakfast Staff welcoming. Parking on site and near to A26. We stayed twice on this trip.

We stopped on our way back to the UK.
We booked a suite which had a jaguizzi bath, which was good after a long day of touring in a car, except for a terrible noise from the motor.
We thought it was value for many overnight stay.
Reasonably priced set menus for dinner but nothing too special.

Wardrobe was dirty and marked inside.Dinner sent back twice for being cold and then left as cold and inedible. No apologies from staff and manager at reception hadn't been told if this issue. Told at 6pm bar was open but all staff eating outside till 6.45pm then had to go and search for waiter at 7pm for drink. This is not a good or welcoming hotel.

Our room overlooked the river which was used to drive the water wheel of the old flour mill, framed by verdant trees. Quiet, private rooms, with water rushing by, meant a perfect night’s sleep. Only one night, too short to avail of the pool and other amenities, but time to eat in a top restaurant.
Negative would be no cafe/bar/restaurant/supermarket in the village - only an amusement park for kids. Hostage to the hotel without a car, as we were hiking.

We chose this place to split our journey from the uk to the Alps. Firstly it's not that close to the motorway either getting to the hotel or getting back on further down. The water wheel is the main feature and the stream cutting through the grounds to join the river. The room was ok but no minibar as advertised and therefore no refrigerator to put stuff in. The wifi was also very poor and pretty much unusable even for simple non demanding applications. Evening meal was disappointing and miserly portions and poor value. Also beware this village has a theme park (thankfully closed) and the hotel is very close to a busy railway line.
