The surroundings of this property is out of a renaissance painting! Unbelievable! And there are picturesque towns like Autoire and Racomadour that are just a short drive away that are so uniquely charming and historical. Great place to hang your hat and explore this incredible area!

Amazing location with very nice rooms. The staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for us; chef went out of their way to put together vegetarian courses for us (even at very late notice). Amazing desserts.

The restaurant could not offer us a table for dinner when we arrived at 6pm they would not supply even a sandwich in our room and we had to drive 10km to get some crisps and bread to eat that night. also tried to charge us for the room when I'd paid upfront.

The hotel shuts down on Mondays. There is no service as of Monday afternoon nor proper breakfast on Tuesday mornings. To re enter the property on Monday evening you'll need to use a code. Watch out - it's dark and you might trigger the alarm. We did...

The hotel is quaint but clean and comfortable, exactly what you'd expect in its location. The castle above the hotel completes the experience. There are not many other restaurants nearby but I'd urge you to enjoy the exceptional food at the hotel

Wow! We are touring and we didn't know at the time of booking that this is a Michelin * restaurant with rooms. Needless to say everything was flawless and the dinner was fantastic. Lovely bright hotel with lots of colours and personal touches. Comfortable room. Really nice family of owners and a beautiful out-of-the-way setting near the river. A special place for a special occasion.

From the second that we spotted the hotel from the main road, we felt 'Yes, this is going to be AWESOME'. I was a bit dubious about staying in a 3 star hotel in the French country side, but let me assure you, dear reader, this little place is absolutely fantastic. Marie France at reception is courteous and super efficient, immediately reserving us a table for that evenings meal. Marvellous Mathieu, one of the owners, hoisted my large suitcase up to our room in a jiffy, and what a delight the room was - very spacious, country chic - the giant double bed and multiple pillows as comfy as a cloud. We had a small entrance to our room, separate toilet and our own private bathroom with windows opening onto a scene mostly seen in magazines: a gentle gurgling lake and mountain views in the glorious country side. I could go on forever about the beautiful surroundings, the secluded pool and jacuzzi placed underneath a cliff but words are too poor to describe such majesty. I will, however, like to name the staff who were so helpful, polite and made us feel as though we were actually in a 5 star hotel: Benoit - please allow him to guide you when it comes to wine selection - he knows his stuff and everything that he recommended did not disappoint. Yann, Quentin and Baslien - thank you for being so very professional and polite in the discourse of your duties, you are all a credit to yourselves and the hotel. To our magnificent Michelin Star Chef - thank you for sharing your art.

Beautiful location. Restaurant is WICKEDLY expensive (and not worth it). Not only does the restaurant close on Monday nights but the hotel staff also leave. We were given a code to enter. Felt a bit uncomfortable knowing no one was there (I believe the owners are on site). Rooms were old but clean. Hallway carpets were very dirty.
