Les Aubuns Country Hôtel

Travelling beteween two French towns. The overnight at the Les Aubuns Country Hotel experience was awesome. After hours, we requested a drink from the bartender and sat outdoors. Watched the sunset. Continental breakfast the next morning and we were off again. Short stop, but appreciated.

There wasn't internet connection during all my stay.

Best place to explore Avignon, Nîmes and Avignon. Outside the city of Nîmes, near the airport, easy parking, great breakfast and dinner. Big beds.

A little gem in the middle of the country side next to a military airport. The facilities are clean and the staff, signage, and materials are in at least three languages(English, French, and German). That is helpful. If you happen to find yourself at a nearby famous Garons restaurant, you can stay here for a reasonable price. Be careful of food availability. The hotel has tight reservation policies for eating at the hotel restaurant, it does not have room service or casual food available, and prohibits "picnicking" or bringing food from outside. This no picnicking policy would make sense if they provided food but nope. If you have kids, they may get hungry due to hotel policies. We were unable to find a coffee shop in the town nearby. if you are hungry, there are two fun boulangeries in Garons but without seating. The pool is clean and a refreshing respite from the hot weather of the surrounding country side in the summer. The roar of a military jet taking off is invigorating. The pool has a stated closure of 7:30 but we were asked to leave the poolside seating at 6:50 so thy could get ready for dinner. This facility seems to allow smoking. The hallways wreaked of cigarette smoke a couple times each day. The rooms, however, were not impacted. If you need a place to stay, Les Aubuns is clean. The culture of customer service harkens back to the old style disdain for tourism in France from the 80's.

Good value, friendly staff, nice pool, excellent AC in the room. The room decor is a bit tired, but overall the property is pleasant and priced correctly.

For our purposes (dining in a restaurant that was very nearby) it was perfect. Pleasant hotel with gated security. Pleasant front desk personnel. No complaints. We had to look for someone when we were checking out, but that was minor. The bill was already paid, so we could have just left.

The hotel is in a fairly isolated position a few miles from Nimes. It has comfortable rooms and a good pool and outdoor seating area. The food and wine were fine, but a bit pricey.

Exceeeded expectation. Food, drinks and service were incredible and the beds were clean and comfortable.

My business took me to the Neme airport. The hotel was very close to my work. The owners are bilingual and exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The drive into central Neme takes 15 minutes to central ville. Overall, the hotel is quiet, safe and very pleasant for families or business. I highly recommend a visit.

It is the second time I stopped at this hotel. Clean room. Good WiFi connection. Parking available on the property. The swimming-pool was clean. Everything was as described on the web site. I will come back again.

Service was good even though the breakfast was a bit expensive in my opinion. The room is very nice and the place in general is. I found the position comfortable cause I had to travel around and it is close to the highway (do not worry, there is no noise!). However there is not much in the area, if someone wants to stay very close to services and restaurants.

Excellent family-run hotel conveniently located next to Nimes airport. Very good area with easy access to everywhere by car. The food at the restaurant is exceptional, highly recommended. Very helpful reception staff, recommended great places to go. Good wi-fi throughout. The only negative is that the restaurant is overlooking the nice swimming pool, would have been better to have some separation for privacy, especially since the restaurant is popular with locals as well.

Convenient place to stay outside of Nimes. Isolated, but with gas station not far away, and a very good restaurant on site. Plenty of parking. Decent setup for visiting the Nimes arena and Pont du Gard the next day.

Early morning flight so day before drove to nimes and checked into les aubuns. Lovely country hotel, security gate entrance, v friendly staff, excellent pool. Rooms boutiquey. Comfy bed. Went into nimes for dinner, back for a few drinks at bar. Buffet bfast next day then off to the airport (5 mins drive). perfect and v reasonable price.

Nice little hotel, close to the airport with a beautiful pool and great food served at the restaurant.
