This is a very conveniently located hotel. Clean and friendly family run hotel. Big room very clean and comfortable bed. One small warning it does not have a lift.

My wife has a challenge with her back. As a result we always make some requests regarding the room to ensure the issue is not made worse and also to assist the hotel in the case of an emergency Over the last year we have stayed in a about 30 hotels and not a single hotel has made an effort to satisfy these requests.
However, the Hotel des Ducs surpassed themselves and provided exactly what we asked for, and it was all set up when we arrived . Our thanks to the team.
The hotel is now a must have stop through France.

Really lovely hotel. This was a last minute booking and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely big bed, air conditioned, clean and tidy.
Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and fresh!

Good location near the train station and bus depot and nearby Carrefour market and gas station. Nearby restaurants within walking distance including Chez Fano. Room had comfortable bed and pillows. Off street private parking area was convenient and secure. Staff was friendly and efficient, and assisted in securing dinner reservation. Breakfast started early at 6:45 AM and included typical assortment of breads, croissants, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee machine. Overall good value.

The manager was on reception when we arrived early Saturday evening. He advised on an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance, Helped us with our luggage. The room was large and clean. It did not have air conditioning but did have a very good fan which kept us cool. Breakfast was very good with excellent Coffee and fresh Croissants and Baguettes.

Only a quick overnight stay in our journey. Was perfect for that. Only thing was it was implied breakfast was free mon- fri and only chargeable at weekends and we got charged for it on a week day. Apart from that, no issues.

This was a little Gem of a hotel. Really convenient to find and easy as it’s on the outskirts of town. Met with great hosts and secure parking with lovely gardens and bar. The room was spotless with all you would need for an overnight stay. Great recommendation for places for dinner. Would definitely stay again and recommend people to stay.

Easy to find, would have been useful if they had sent us the code for the parking gate in advance as we had to park up outside and go in and ask. The reception guy was quite off-hand, not at all welcoming. The main problem was the smell in the room. We went out to dinner leaving the windows wide open (not particularly secure as there was a flat roof outside our room), thinking the smell would dissipate but when we returned it was just as bad. So we slept with the windows wide open, fortunately it was a mild night. I mentioned it to the (different, slightly more cheerful) receptionist next morning and she explained that the carpets had recently been replaced. So what we could smell was carpet glue, nice!!
