Overall, the stay was good. Good staff and service. Close to public transit (Bus M19 U-bahn Yorkstrasse), resturants and grocery stores. There is a bar with outdoor seating and paid breakfast. Nice glass shower open view to the room. Stayed on the streetside and it got loud as people were passing by. The mattress was hard and the pillows when I requested hypoallergenic were hard and too big. My main complaint and deter me from booking here again was the cigarette smoke that disprupted my sleep nightly. PLEASE KEEP NON SMOKING ROOMS SMOKE FREE. Consider booking directly

Very nice clean hotel with great facilities and comfortable bed, wish I had stayed longer than 1 night. Reception and bar staff were very friendly. The walk from the S Bahn/U bahn stations takes about 10 minutes under some old disused railway bridges that used to carry the line from the old Anhalter Bahnhof, the pavement is narrow in places and you have the added hazard of cycles on the pavement. Also there were homeless people on the S bahn station. However Berlin still feels like a safe city compared to Paris/Rome/Barcelona etc. From a previous visit to Berlin the nearby Deutsches Technik Museum is well worth a visit

So clean and modern. The Victoria park is just 2 blocks away for a nice walk or running. There are TONs of restaurants highly rated. Feels very international, young, vibrant, and comfortable.
