Staff was super accommodating & even passed out accessories for hotel guests to cheer on the Berlin Marathon this past Sunday! They also provided refreshments to the runners staying at the hotel, which I found most kind!

We spent a nice extended weekend with my wife and our German pointer dog on August 19-21, 2023. We were already in this hotel in 2020. The service was very nice and polite. Comfortable beds and clean room. Great location in the Mitte district. Safe and quiet. Opposite the shop, lots of good restaurants and breakfasts nearby. We traveled by car and had the option of parking in the hotel garage. The parking lot is small and a bit tight but every driver should manage. I would recommend booking a parking space in advance as parking on the street costs 4 euros per hour. We will definitely return to Main by Amano. I highly recommend. What an amazing location! Near tons of great dining options (be sure to check out the cafe with the bulldog mascot on the nearby corner), lots of historical attractions within a 10-20 min walk, and right by lots of public transportation options. It felt very safe walking around at any time of day/into the night. The rooms are comfortable with everything we needed for our stay in Berlin, and we enjoyed sitting outside having a beer (although the hotel’s selection was surprisingly small). Staff were friendly and helpful, even holding a bag for a few extra days after we checked out when it wouldn’t fit in our rental car. Would be happy to stay here again!
