Central Hersonissos Hotel

Nice hotel in good location,friendly staff and good food

We would be very happy to return to this hotel. The staff were all lovely, in the office and in the dining room. We were well taken care of. Thank you to all of your helpful staff.

Property is off main shopping street in quiet area. Few minutes walk to both shopping and seafront Excellent value for £. Very clean. Wi-fi throughout and fridge in the room.

We had the only ground floor room with a patio door to the pool. They turn music on early in the morning. Unfortunately guests used our patio as a smoking room, quite annoying.

Loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly and breakfast was awesome. Great location near the beach, but pretty far from the main part of the island. My only complaint about the hotel itself is that the bed was kind of too hard for me, and the walls were thin- I could hear someone's TV playing nearby.

Reception staff really nice and friendly. Two waiters on breakfast hardly spoke or smiled so we gave up trying. Room was lovely with the evening sun on balcony to finish the day. Pool was disappointing as it was mostly in the shade for most of the day. You couldn’t get a lounger round it anyway as the dining tables were left out and people were still eating breakfast at 11am. We had to use the beach to sunbathe which was nice but at€10 a couple a day for two weeks took a chunk out of our budget.

We had a very pleasant stay at Central Hersonissos hotel. The staff is excellent and so is the food. We will gladly recommend this hotel to all our friends.

It was a lovely hotel, got upgraded from a basic double room on arrival to a newly refurbished one - this meant that our room was lovely and clean with everything we needed and a really cold fridge! Perfect distance from the beach and right near bus stops to the rest of the island.

We were warmly welcomed on the opening day of the season. The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and the room was exactly as in the pictures. Breakfast was a nice buffet, varied every day but the hot plate did not keep pancakes or crepes warm. It was, however, odd, to us, not to have our room serviced after our first night, bearing in mind that the hotel had only just opened. Written room info said there was room service for six days.....seems a bit strange.

We stayed here two nights The hotel is just off the main strip but in a quiet location.Rooms are a good size with free fridge and great wifi.Great resort with nice promenade and bars and shopping.Hotel does a buffet dinner ten euros which is cheap but we got it half that price good food.

The room allotted to me when I checked in was smaller than the description of the hotel. I was very unhappy with the room. The hotel staff responded very quickly to my complaint about the room and changed it the very next day. Apart from this initial glitch, everything else about the hotel was great: the staff were very polite and courteous, the location was good, hotel breakfast buffet was great.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Close to all you could need. If I had one criticism, it would be the beds. They aren't the most comfortable and we found them to be quite hard. Everything else was wonderful. The staff were amazing and accommodating and we're always around to assist with anything we wanted.

Expensive considering the condition of the room. Nice breakfast!

Such a good location near all shops, bars, restaurants and the beach only downside was the pool area was really small

Room: basic but clean and after reading previous reviews found having a room on the front of the hotel not as noisy as expected. Expedia description said safe and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Safe was behind the front desk and there was no kettle. We made enquiries and told we had to use the coffee machine in the dining room. Within 5 minutes of returning to the room Katerina found a kettle for us to use. Hair dryers are available on request and you keep it until you book out. There was lots of storage space for clothes. Rooms were cleaned everyday with towels and bed linen change every 2 days. Breakfast: there was an excellent selection of food every morning, from cheese and meat selection to full cooked breakfast. We had dinner in the hotel one night and it cost only €5 as a special offer for being Expedia customers. You could eat as much as you wanted from the buffet, which was constantly topped up by the chef. Staff: all the staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to help us. Katerina who was on the reception but seemed to keep everyone in order was very efficient. The barman who called himself Vascos??? Was over friendly and I would go as far as saying he is not an asset to the hotel. The pool area is small but we could always get a sun lounger and for some of the day the pool was in the shade. There was lots of Eastern Europeans in the hotel and as long as you make the effort then they will too. But mostly kept to themselves.
