A really lovely hotel with modern stylish decor. The room was fairly spacious with amazing panoramic sea views from the balcony (great sunsets). The pool area was very nice, with comfy sunbeds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good but hot food could have been a little hotter. For a 4* hotel I would maybe expect tea and coffee making facilities in the room (just a kettle and some mugs at least) though the man behind the bar kindly gave me hot water in a teapot in the evening and some milk. It is a bit of a walk to the town but you only have to walk on the main road for about 5 mins before turning off to walk along a quieter road overlooking the sea which is very pleasant. I would say its about 10 mins from the hotel to the edge of the waterfront area and around another 5 mins to the edge of the old town (which is beautiful). There is also a nice beach just under 10 min walk (the other way to the town), which has a pretty good restaurant. Overall a great place to stay on this beautiful island!

Beautiful ocean view from our balcony. The hotel is just on the edge of Parikia. We did not have a rental but the hotel arranged a taxi for us. Expect to pay around 40 euros for a short drive. The road is not walkable with luggage, no sidewalk and there’s traffic. Buses, not reliable. The hotel was great. Bed not so much but we dealt with it since it was a one night stay. The mattress was very, very firm. The staff fantastic. They also arranged for us to rent an ATV to see the island. Provided lots of very good recommendations.

We stayed at High Mills Paros Hotel, Parikia and were really disappointed. The photos online are quite misleading — while the location itself is nice overlooking the sea , the hotel is not well maintained. Our room felt outdated and wasn’t very clean, with worn furniture and a musty smell. The bathroom was especially unpleasant it felt cramped with poor water pressure and the shower had dirty rusty drain covers which felt very unhygienic. The air conditioning barely worked, making the heat hard to tolerate. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, very hard and difficult to sleep on. We had to ask for an extra foam mattress just to make it bearable, which says a lot about the basic level of comfort. Breakfast was very basic, with limited variety and low-quality options. The staff were polite but not particularly welcoming or helpful and there was little effort to make our stay comfortable. Overall, this hotel felt very overpriced for what was offered and we left feeling disappointed. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others visiting Paros, there are definitely better options nearby.

The property is in a good position in relation to the main strip, bars and restaurants. Swimming pool area is good but needs a bit of update. Room was nice size, but having the sink by the bed it doesn't make sense... not much room for storage and it needs a better refurb. It states this hotel is a 4 star, but in my opinion i think it's 3 start max.

This hotel is definitely not 4 stars! The outside is a bit rundown and in need of a facelift. It has overgrown trees, gardens and lawns. The pool lounge chairs and umbrellas are a bit old and worn. It lives up to its name “High” Mill as it has a steep and pebbly driveway you have to walk up. The skeleton staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is no porter or elevator. The rooms were clean and a good size but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was in the bedroom area which was a bit odd. There was no tea or coffee making facilities. We didn’t sit out on our balcony as it was filthy dirty and needed a good scrub, hose and paint. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of fresh hot and cold food and pastries, but it was the same every day. The only dining area was outside which wasn’t ideal when it was windy. There was also a mangy cat that hung around while you were eating. It was completely off putting and unhygienic especially in a restaurant setting. The hotel is in a quiet area but is a 25 minute walk to town. The road has no footpath to speak of and it feels dangerous as traffic can be quite heavy. There is a bus stop just down the road but it only comes every two hours. A taxi to the port is €15 booked directly (the hotel charge €40). I wouldn’t stay here again as it’s in need of updating and I didn’t like the location.

High Mill Hotel is very quiet and isolated hotel in Parikia, close to the main road and away from the city center. No attractive hotel facilities and entertainment for guests, ideal for a vacation without the noise and crowds. Parikia is very nice and peaceful place, with typical ''cyclades'' style, but without an attractive nightlife. Excellent transport links and the ability to visit the surrounding islands (Antiparos, Santorini, Mykonos, etc.). Rent a car or own vehicle are essential for the well spent vacation here. The town of Naoussa on the north (8 km) is ideal for a night out, and in its neighborhood has some very beautiful beaches. My recommendation is Santa Maria beach (for young people) near the town of Noussa and magical Faragas beach near the town of Aliki in the south of the island. Do not miss the beautiful villages in the central part of the island, such as Lefkes and taste delicious local food. If you arrive by ferry from the port of Piraeus, I recommend that one day dedicate this beautiful city, enjoy the charming marinas, restaurants and cafes along the coast, and to visit Athens with hop-on hop-off buses from the Port (there are 3 connected lines - Athens line, Piraeus Line and Beaches Riviera Line).
