Hotel very clean. Beds very hard but most are in Iceland. Breakfast was typical Icelandic but included. Very windy at this location. At the end of a large Fjord.

Room and beds were comfortable and clean. On site restaurant and feee breakfast were nice since closest available restaurants were not very close to hotel.

Amazing experience! Hiking trails at the resort, game room, creative arts room cimplete with piano, guitar, musical instruments, yoga room, that all if the family can pursue their interests then meet back up again at the tranquil pool and hot tub. The onsite restaurant is incredibly delicious. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the mountain and hot spring. Dala hotel is the place i will remember first when i think of my trip to Iceland!

This place is a hidden gem in forest and next to a calm peaceful hot spring. The hotel is large, rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night and truly enjoyed it. Definitely recommended!

Dated property. We stayed in a family quadruple room which was spacious but very dated. Stained curtains and lots of dead bugs. Bathroom is quite small. The pool and hot tubs next to the property were nice and there are plenty of games rooms at the hotel room. The food at the restaurant was not good at all - braised lamb was so tough that it was hard to cut with a knife. The staff is helpful and accommodating. We stayed here due to the location on our trip around Iceland but wouldn't stay here again.

Reminds us of a hostel. Shared showers and bathrooms. Even though we had a private bath and shower there was no water pressure. Had to use the common baths. This was a challenge with kids.

Sightseeing in the area. The couple that own/run the property are lovely, and very helpful. They have a picturesque hot spring adjacent to them that is for guest use. Views from hotel are amazing in all directions! Breakfast included was key!

This place is great! The food in the restaurant was spectacular and there are so many amenities to enjoy. I swam laps in the pool and my husband enjoyed the hot tub. Cannot recommend this place enough.
