Fantastic view and very clean and comfy rooms. They were very proactive in acknowledging your Expedia status and made sure that you got the perk that was promised. It is of course more of a commercial chain hotel than a laid back venue. Everything was great but the bathroom could use an upgrade compared to the rest of the property and room quality.

Fosshotel Nupar is in the middle of nowhere. But that’s the point. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the views are amazing! For my wife and I this hotel was the perfect pit stop after a day full of active hiking, atv riding and driving. I would definitely recommend this stay!

This hotel was convenient to Laki Craters and Vik. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Dinner was also very good. Room was comfortable. The only issue was mold in the shower. I expect better from a Foss hotel.

The views were amazing! Patios are such a fantastic idea. But, there was no patio furniture on them. The beds were hard. The restaurant was very nice. It is in the middle of nowhere so bring snacks etc. Breakfast was subpar. We were there for 2 nights and the breakfast was cold by 9 am when we were there.

Excellent breakfast, I recommend to pre-buy it when you book the hotel. Room is clean and staff are top notch. Only issue is that beds are too narrow ( less than 30 inches wide). Not used to that as a Canadian!

We recently stayed at this property, and it was easily one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. From the safety of the neighborhood to the hygiene of the room, everything was completely unacceptable. Here is a breakdown of our stay: * The Room & Hygiene: The overall quality of the room was terrible. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. Worst of all, we discovered literal blood spots on the window blinds—a massive biohazard and proof that this room was not properly cleaned before our arrival. * The Bathroom Flooding & Smell: The shower was completely broken or improperly sealed, causing water to pool all over the bathroom floor every time it was used. We had to sacrifice a mountain of towels just to keep the standing water from spreading into the bedroom. Because of the constant moisture, the entire bathroom had a heavy, musty smell. * Breakfast & Dining: To add insult to injury, breakfast was not free, and paying extra for it was a total waste of money. The food options were incredibly mediocre and uninspired. * Staff and Service: When we went to the staff to explain the flooding and asked them to replace the pile of dirty, soaked towels off the floor, they completely ignored our request. The towels were never replaced, leaving us to deal with the mess ourselves. * Location: To top it all off, the surrounding area felt incredibly sketchy and unsafe. We did not feel secure leaving the hotel or walking around the p

The location is breathtaking. Each room has its own panoramic view and direct access to the outside space. The shower box is a bit too small. There’s ev charging outside. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast.

This hotel was definitely a hotel that you should only stay at if you are passing through, don’t drive here as a destination. It is very expensive and honestly feels a little bit like a motel. I will say the restaurant is REALLY good. If it wasn’t for the restaurant the hotel would have been a total waste of time. Amazing location and views. But for the price, it really doesn’t feel as nice as it should.

After a long day driving, this hotel feels like heaven. They have a nice restaurant which made us feel great for a nice diner! very big rooms comparing to other hotels we stayed in the same trip. The view is amazing. Very nice! wanted to stay more days but we needed to keep going! highly recommend it.

This hotel is a road motel for the price of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are small and simple, the bathroom is very low quality, including the grime included the plastic shower. Do not recommend. Breakfast was also por quality.

Staff was incredible, as is in every fosshotel we've ever stayed at. Great location to skaftafell and many other attractions near systrafoss. Stunning views from room. Great breakfast and dinner. I would highly recommend the arctic char and risotto. 100% staying here again
