Glaðheimar Guesthouse

We got there after midnight and were afraid we couldn't get in. We called the number on the door and got instructions to get in a room. It was clean and well-supplied. We had access to a full kitchen and only saw 2 other people. It was a quick stop, but exactly what we needed!

Nice new facility in the lodge. Check in confusing as Hotels.com said no Check in staff, contact facility directly but gave no phone number. I emailed facility and no response. Phone call to Hotels.com the day before no help either. Had to call facility once there and staff came over but if we didn't have someone with cell service, could've been a problem.

Overall, fair for everything.

Simple, clean place to lay your head and get a decent night's rest. No fancy, but beds were comfortable and it was clean. Difficult to find anywhere to eat breakfast in this town so we ate at the gas station eating area across the street.

The main house where we stayed is beautiful, everything looked new and built with wood, looked amazing. Great beds, location and friendly staff. Will come again anytime.

We stayed in the guesthouse which appears to be very new. In great condition. Well equipped common area with kitchen.

Quiet. Beautiful setting. Great restaurant and gas just across the street.

The place was overbooked, there was no room available when we arrived. The owner was not there (it was 7 pm), a lady at the property spoke no English, and offered a phone to speak with the owner. The owner spoke very little English, finally we were moved to stay in a different hotel in town, a very old building, half falling apart. Terrible experience, would not recommend to anyone.

Blonduos est une ville-étape. L'hôtel est très beau, la déco soignée et chaleureuse, la cuisine collective au top avec café, thé à disposition!

リビングルームにキッチン、ダイニングテーブル、ソファーがありゆったり過ごせました。テラスにBBQセットもあったので、申請すれば使えるのかもしれません。

Pessima esperienza, appena arrivati, metà pomeriggio, il proprietario ci ha detto che non avrebbe avuto la camera per noi e ci ha dirottato ad altro hotel, noi inaspettatamente ci siamo recati nell'altro hotel, dove ci siamo rifiutati anche di entrare, fatiscente. ASSURDO PRENDERE PIU' PRENOTAZIONI DELLE CAMERE A DISPOSIZIONE. Siamo tornati al Gladheimar, il titolare è riuscito a trovare una camera, anche se prima ci aveva detto che era over booking, sicuramente avrà mandato altri clienti nell'altra struttura. Camera e struttura apparentemente nuove, tutte in legno, con possibilità di usufruire della cucina comune, la cosa non sarebbe male peccato però che abbiamo trovato le lenzuola tutte rotte e bucate e le stesse lenzuola e gli asciugamani con una serie di capelli di altri clienti attaccati. Pulizia discutibile anche nella cucina ben attrezzata, ma sicuramante da migliorare.

Prachtige kam er. Gebruik van gemeenschappelijke keuken . Deze was groot, nog groter de eetzaal, daar konden minstens 50 mensen aan tafel daar waren ook borden en bestek voor. We hebben 8 kamers gezien er was ook een camping. We hadden keuken en eetzaal voor ons alleen.
