Hotel Bifrost

Breakfast was terrible. Minimal food options. No choice to just have some bread to toast. We were refused and sliced bread. No orange juice, only orange squash. Worst breakfast experience I have ever had.

The receptionist is wonderful and the room was very clean. It was even pre-heated for me!

We had a very pleasant stay at Bifrost Hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent—definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, a great experience!

Very personal and helpful

PHENOMENAL. My fiancé and I spent a magical night in this gorgeous hotel. We didn’t make use of the amenities despite them being a major selling point… we were too comfy and exhausted from a long day exploring and hiking. We will be very happy to come back in the future, however. The staff are beyond wonderful. Thank you!

We stayed for one night and the room was lovely. Nice staff at the front desk and restaurant. Room was clean and spacious, with a very cool poured concrete shower. Breakfast was included and was plentiful with lots of vegetarian options.

Nice rooms, great shower, small tv but overall good stay

Restaurant staff was abysmal. Restaurant was nearly empty, there were 3 waitstaff. We had to ask for our drinks AFTER the food had arrived. It still took nearly 10 minutes to receive our drinks. And we could see the staff standing around talking!

It was a little out of the way, other than that it was a great place

I was never able to make it to the property as the road to get there was not safe for my vehicle to reach Also there check in is not reasonable hours 8-8 pm that’s it

The hotel rooms were nice but the bed was uncomfortable. The hotel had an elevator and a restaurant which was nice. The breakfast was included and there was a good selection.

Everything is very good, except the water flow in the shower is all over the bathroom floor .

Friendly staff; lovely breakfast! Dinner on site was sensational but very expensive…

Biggest room we stayed at in Iceland!! Lots of shelves ,drawers and closet space. We spent 15 nights at 15 hotels ,so we are experts in hotels. Conveiently located near many sights. The hotel food for dinner we thought was a bit expensive. Our waiter from Ukraine spoiled the hotel feeling for us with his attitude. Hopefully having a bad day.

Upon entering the building we found a broken down car in the parking lot (flat tires), a camper up on blocks. The outside was not maintained. Once we checked in to the room we immediately decided to leave. Smell! The staff would not refund us any money and were rude. Between the time we checked in and left (15 minutes max) someone had broken a glass bottle in the entrance driveway. I did go back in to tell the staff.

Great stay!

It was alright, but it is like a dorm room and less like a hotel. Supper option was a buffet but very limited for vegetarians, and extremely expensive.

Hotel Bifrost staff was friendly and engaged, their dining and lobby area was clean and comfortable to relax in. The rooms were clean if a little dated, but a large amount of space to unpack if you were staying longer. Very large area for shower which was a pleasant surprise. We were overlooking some nearby homes and there was some traffic noise, but nothing distracting. Did not try the breakfast but looked appetizing.
