We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a cabin for our stay and it was amazing. I highly recommend you book one if you are able to. It was the largest room we had on our trip and it was nice to get to spread out a bit. They also offer a call if the Northern Lights are visible, just make sure the ringer is turned up on the phone in the room. Ours was turned off so we missed the call they made.

Beautiful stand alone room on a well manicured property. Modern fit and finish! Offered to call when the Aurora was visible, but we looked into the lights being prominent even as the sun was still setting. Great breakfast.

Lovely quiet place to stay. We wre there for 4 nights, and were upgraded to a cabin, which was nice. The sauna wasn't working, but laying in the hot spa out in the middle of the golf course in the dark of night, looking up at the northern lights, was most enjoyable.

Beautiful location, and great value for money! Incredibly pleasant staff.

The property was easy to locate, staff was friendly, rooms were clean and neat. Dinner and breakfast the following morning were adequate. The only downside would be the expense. It was quite expensive for the simple room but I would stay there again.

I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Borgarnes. Our room was spacious with all of the amenities you could want. Beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful and it was enjoyable to watch golfers on the 18th green. And as others have said, the breakfast was amazing and delicious. It was by far the best free breakfast we have had while in Iceland accomodations.
