Super comfy beds. Extremely clean. Easy to park and check in. Lots of nice hot water for the soaker tub. Breakfast was spot on and filling. They had coffee or you could make espresso or lattes. Perfect place. We would gladly stay again!

The room was good and spacious, comfortable beds and nice large window. The best thing was the bar full of local people and the friendly staff. We paid for the buffet breakfast and it was good. The location was convenient. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel is dated but so kitschy and fun. Loved all the decor in the halls. The windows and balcony in our room were lovely. The staff were so welcoming and sweet. We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient to downtown.

Wonderful! The bed was extremely comfortable, we both slept very well and our backs appreciated the bed. Very interesting antiques throughout which we enjoyed. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We would gladly stay there again.

On check in I was told I had to pay a tourist tax, which I did assuming it was normal in the Reykjavik area. However afterwards I checked the booking receipt and it claimed that taxes were included in the price. Also some internet research suggests tourist tax applies throughout Iceland yet all the other hotels we stayed at included it in the price.
