great hotel if shopping is your goal. i ended up with a whole new wardrobe. driver that got me from airport to hotel, and then down to pondicherry was a delightful man. staff members Karthick and Mani were polite and competent

First of all the breakfast is very helpful. You can just come down and have the breakfast without stepping out and wanting to figure out where to go. So, you might want to buy the breakfast package. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There was construction going on in the area when I was there, but nothing within the hotel. Also, the hotel is attached to a mall, so you can just walk to the mall to get your lunch. I was working remotely so this helped me immensely. There are always autos or tuk-tuks waiting outside the hotel for travel, if you need.

Sadky, the hotel rooms are very run down, shows that there is no ongoing maintenence. This is obvious as we stayed tthere for 2 weeks in 2018 and were so impressed that we decided to stay there again this time. The bathroom, toilet and general fittings are rusted and needsxreplacing, peeling paint, water stains and water leaking ifrom the bathroom after showers. There is no hand towel, tissue box,, only 3 device can be connected to wifi for a room occupied by 3 people. The sraff went out of thier way to help although they could not do much to fix the real issues, this is something that the hotel management should be looking at. The first day we checked in the room and bed were filthy but the housekeeping manager was amazing and sorted things out himself and ensured we were happy.....sorry I cannot remember his name, he was lovely. The beds and pillows were good The breakfast buffet was great, very good spread. Staff were super accommodating. Attached to the mall so convenient. Unfortunately the cost fot the rooms were far more than they are worth so I would not be returning again.

1st impression. No one to greet at arrival. There was only one thin guy who addresses guest by "yeah, what u want? Bad language and attitude. Shocking. No basic manners. Then the rest is history. The ambience. The staffs carry the same attitude. In the Room, there is No basic toiletries like dental kit and room slippers and even tissue box provided. When called housekeeping they said rudely its only provided upon request. In the bathroom, the tap is 30cm above the sink which is plate shaped which causes water to splash on us whenever we try to wash hands. Never seen such a design in any hotels we stayed so far. Breakfast - most importantly guests must understand that this hotel is a vegetarian hotel. There is not even egg provided during breakfast. Very limited bfast options. I would never recommend anyone to tbis hotel.

Stayed for a day. The location and facilities are excellent....staff were very helpful. Bala went out of his way to make our trip comfortable. Amit and Solomon were very helpful and friendly. The dinner could be improved...but servers were very attentive. Will stay again.
