From check-in to checkout, the reception staff was friendly. The hotel is strategically located next to Gajah Mada Plaza. I booked a superior room, and it was quite spacious. The bed was also quite large. It was still comfortable for three people and a 4-year-old, even though we're all quite large. The only downside was that the blanket had a stain from the previous guest, and it smelled a bit off. The room wasn't soundproof. The sound of people chatting and laughing from other rooms could be heard all the way to my room. The facilities could be improved in the future. I asked the receptionist before breakfast if there was a gym, but they said there wasn't. I asked about the rooftop, and they also said there wasn't. Breakfast was standard, lacking variety. The food tasted average. What I liked about Artotel was the room's really cool air conditioning, and the pool was also okay, the water wasn't too cold. 🙂

The check-in process was lengthy. I waited 40 minutes for the room to be cleaned, even though all the guests who checked in after me had already been assigned their rooms. The receptionist was unresponsive, just answering "yes, yes." The room was nice, spacious, clean, and had nothing missing. However, the service needs to be improved.

The hotel staff informed us that we had left something in the room. We immediately asked the receptionist to leave it for us, but it was missing when we picked it up and an argument ensued. Because it was missing, they finally agreed to replace it with a different item. The service from the hotel management is very poor. We would like to ask the hotel management to address this. Thank you.
