The spirit of no plastic is awesome. So there is a glass jar in the room and at the corridor we can fill it with water from dispenser. Interesting that the toothbrush is made of wood too. But the towels have a grey colour. This colour give me an impression that it isn't clean. The plus of Aston Inn Pandanaran is the location. Very strategic.

The hotel is very strategic, in the middle of the city and close to the souvenir center, just a short walk away, the rooms are clean, comfortable, there was only a slight problem when checking in, one of the rooms I booked was informed that I had checked in since noon even though my group and I only arrived at night, so we had to wait quite a long time for confirmation and checking, but overall the facilities were okay.

Satisfied staying here. The location is in the city center and close to the souvenir center. The swimming pool is clean so it is comfortable to use. The room is clean and quite spacious and there is still room for prayer. The hangers for clothes are also sufficient. The breakfast menu is varied and delicious, the spring rolls are the best.

Our family and I were on our way from Bandung to Surabaya and stayed for 1 night because we needed a transit rest during the peak of the 2025 Eid homecoming flow. When I go home for Eid, I usually transit in Semarang and stay at the Aston Pandanaran Hotel, and always get a proper and clean room. However, yesterday I got a room that was not very clean with lots of black stains on the walls and holes in the plinth. Hopefully the management can make improvements, and the less proper rooms should be renovated first and carried out regular maintenance.

Stayed in a family room during Ramadan, overall ok, unfortunately the sahur menu was not varied enough and the food was not hot so it was not appetizing. Have stayed here many times.
