I am celebrating my anniversary with my husband, and Gran Melia is the perfect place to have these special moments. From the moment I arrived, Ben escorted me to the red-level reception, and Ben was accommodating and attentive. He happily explained the perks of red level, and even after we parted ways, Ben sought out my husband, who arrived later from the parking lot and escorted him again upstairs. In the red-level lounge, I was greeted by Anas, who is one of the best hoteliers I have ever met. Anas is not only warm and welcoming, but her hospitality is also beyond what I have previously encountered. When I came back here, I wished Anas would be the one who helped me again! Donny also greeted and cared for me, who made such a good cup of coffee! Now the room, where should I start? They upgraded us for free to the deluxe suite; The room is gorgeous. The bathtub made my day as it 's enormous and very comfortable. They even gave me a small cake to celebrate my anniversary. On top of that, they gifted me vouchers to dine at Yoshi Izakaya (my and my husband 's favorite Japanese restaurant), so this time, I was pampered by Gran Melia. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and I am 100 % will be back to stay in the red-level rooms again. Thank you, Gran Melia Jakarta!

What a pleasant experience here. Everything was perfect from the service, food, hotel facilities and breathtaking view from our room. The room is very comfortable and clean. Service was excellent, particularly the staff at the Redlevel Lounge. Many thanks to the staff that checked me in (I'm really sorry I can't remember their name). They were so friendly and helpful. Overall I had an amazing stay at Gran Melia Jakarta. Highly recommended and I'd totally return.

All the staff were warm and accomodating, especially when we requested to change room because of the dirty window exterior. Asked for a complimentary birthday cake and they managed to send a cake to the room. It was lovely. Room was very comfortable and clean, even though it's a pretty old hotel everything was maintained very well. Lots of delicious selection for breakfast!

Overall very nice experience, the room is nice, clean, the ac workings well. But seems need a lot improvement though because the sofa inside the room feels so damped and have an odd smell. And last thing to be improve perhaps the breakfast, the food is nice but some of them cold even they have the induction stove (not sure why).

Although the design of the hotel is a bit old, but overall my staycation experience with my family was very pleasant. My two children are happy because there is a bathtub in the bathroom. Without being asked, the hotel provided an extra bed in one of the rooms because they knew I had the children with me. The check-in process is also fast. The service from the hotel staff is very good. The facilities are also okay. AC room is quite cold. There is a pool for children too, on Sunday afternoon there are events for children such as magic, face painting, kid movies, and others. It's just that the choice of breakfast food is a little less varied than other hotels. The dimsum is a bit lacking. But overall it's very satisfying to stay at Gran Melia Jakarta.

Satisfied. Satisfy and champion! The service is great, order two deluxe rooms, get a free upgrade of 2 rooms to the Classic type. Ask for bottled mineral water, ask for sugar, coffee, tea many times and still be served and delivered with a friendly smile. The concierge was very alert, just arrived when we checked-in, the things were brought to the room, when we wanted to check out our things were also dropped into the lobby. The front office is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, complete and clean with 5 star standards. The bathroom amenities are also fragrant and classy. Hot water, AC works well. The bathtub? Wow, great, big and modern equipped with back cushions (rare hotels that provide backrest in their bathtub). The lobby and hallway rooms are fragrant and cold (usually many hotels have an ordinary lobby, not fragrant and not fragrant, even though they are 4 and 5 stars). Maybe there is a slight lack, the toilet still uses a separate toilet (between for cleaning and defecating). But it's no problem.
